particularly hilarious since the democrats pulled the exact same bull**** before the kerry/bush debate. several "letters to the editor" were even received by the WSJ hours before the debate even began! in addition, there was a template on the DNC website for viewers to use to write in. absolutely ****in' hilarious that you and the AP are making such a deal of this now, yet ignored it last week. as the much-missed TJ might say: EXPOSED
no, must not be on the distribution list. lord knows they send me enough "invitations" and signed pictures. it's a little creepy actually. how do they know? i've never donated or registered as a republican. maybe they've tapped my browser cookies? if so, then surely they know that i "occasionally" visit sites that wouldn't be sanctioned by the rightest-wing of the party...
honestly, i don't know, although there has always been an assumption among many on the right that if the race were close in october the media would do everything in it's power to drag kerry across the finish line first. it's the same impulse that drove CBS to use the forged memos. memos, which btw, michael moore apparently turned down for use in F9/11 since he couldn't verify them.
I wasn't saying that was true. I was saying that was Edwards contention. I don't mind disagreement, or people thinking it was a goofy way for him to make his point, but if that's what Cheney wants to talk about in a debate, or the Bush camp wants to run their campaign on, then they are avoiding the issues.
To be fair I got this in my email today... What a difference a week makes -- last Tuesday some pundits were predicting the end of our campaign. As you all know, reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. Last Thursday, John Kerry took the stage and did his job. He looked presidential and he scored a decisive victory against George Bush. The momentum has shifted -- in nearly every public poll taken since the debate, we now are leading or tied. In a tight race, things change very quickly -- this is why it is so important that we react to everything. Become part of my rapid response team and join the Kerry-Edwards Media Corps today. http://johnkerry.com/response Election Day is just four weeks away. During the close of this campaign, we will not let a single charge go unanswered and we will stay on the offensive. The Kerry-Edwards Media Corps is a vital part of this rapid response network. Tens of thousands of you have already joined and are making a difference. Last Thursday in Miami, I saw firsthand how hard the Bush campaign tried to spin the debate. They were searching for any angle. Our campaign, with your help, made sure the truth got out. Tonight, in Cleveland, John Edwards will face Dick Cheney in the vice presidential debate. Cheney is a superb debater and he has the format and rules that he wanted. However, he has to try and defend a record of failure. Bush and Cheney may have a failed administration, but they have an experienced campaign that will again try hard to spin the debate. I am here in Cleveland right now to make sure that doesn't happen, but again I need your help. After the debate is finished I will send all of you an important e-mail that highlights some of the key moments. If you can contribute a little bit of time, creativity and energy, we'll supply you with all the information you need to become a member of our online communications team. Thank you, Joe Lockhart Senior Advisor P.S. Again, look for an e-mail from me after tonight's debate. Yeah! I'm part of the team!
The Junior Senator from North Carolina is going to give "Go F*ck Yourself" Grumpy Grampa fits this evening, and I am going to love every minute of it.
how about these statements by Edwards: 1. "I was not mislead by the intelligence" 2. "Saddam Was an imminent threat." how will edwards spin those?
An exposure indeed. Sorry I haven't been able to post much this week, I'm extremely busy with something VERY important. I did have time to read andymoon's flop of an attempt to rebut my Bush Weekly Radio Address OWNING of him. That was a ten-cent response to a million dollar post. It was sad, the lack of support for his opinion comments, the lack of understanding of taxation and basic economics, and the same mindless emotional rants from him. Not that I need to, but I will respond when I have more time. Yes it is picking on a weak sister, but if he feels the need to trumpet his ignorance on fiscal and economic policy, well then by golly, he should be rewarded in kind. GOOD DAY
Cheney just told the same lie he got busted for earlier. He tried to claim that he never suggested a case between Saddam and 9/11. Does anyone have the link to the clip of Cheney saying that it's been pretty well confirmed that Atta met with an Iraqi agent?
