Shame. Weak ending season, but I'm still a big fan. Season 1 with Rudy/Brian Moser and Season 4 with Trinity were 2 of my favorite seasons of television for any show. But damn if I'm not disappointed...
Crazy how much this show has declined. I wish it would've ended season 5 with some final epic storyline. Instead we get four seasons filled with pointless subplots and dexter romances. I can't imagine the final episode not being a disappointment.
**** like this has been going on since season four (Kyle Butler anyone?). By the beginning of season six I learned to appreciate the show for its unintentional comedy rather than as a serious drama.
This show is like the original writers left after Season 4 and were replaced by some Clown**** from the CW.
At this point no I dont think it would be satisfying. Honestly I don't think there will be a satisfying ending, regardless of what happens. We are destined to be disappointed
It's not my favorite season, but I don't have the hate for it that a lot of folks have. There's enough interesting characters and tie ins from the past to make it worthwhile for me.
Might as well give him a happy ending then. Even if its superficially satisfying, its better than gracelessly ending on a bummer.
I really like the Saxson/Brain Surgeon character. It would've been great if we had a full season of him and Dexter matching wits and going after each other. Too bad it got so stupid. Freakin' Lem. Just getting himself killed in every series.
After watching breaking bad, I can't even imagine watching the next Dexter with how terrible the seasons been.. Just gotta steamroll through it for closure
I'm usually not very hard on this show but damn this last episode was just full of dumb... I'm just curious how they'll decide to end it know so we can move on...
This season and the most recent ones have been a mind f..uck for sure. Let's stop the bashing and appreciate how fantastic the series was before. This is not Breaking Bad but let's hear some predictions on the last episode. Will Deb live? Does Dexter die? Does Masuka f his daugther? The final episode has us on pins and needles. In hindsight, no one here knows. Btw - I thought for a second Deb and Dexter were going to have total make out session on their last steak dinner together. Boy would that had been sweet! :grin:

Imagine Vince Gilligan leaving Breaking Bad after the fourth season and the new show runner deciding to take it to 4 more drawn out seasons.
