Exactly! i realize now that they did that last year as well where they started bringing back fragments of the previous seasons. The bad part about it is are they doing this because they have no more momentum to carry them/cant gel up new ideas? I hope not because this series deserves a great conclusion!
HAS to be a dream sequence I think the finale twist makes it stand out to more people. To this day one of my top 3 season finales EVER. It was me, my three roommates and a friend watching and when the final scene happened - our jaws were DROPPED 5 minutes straight. We couldnt even respond.
Anyone who thinks Breaking Bad is a better show than The Sopranos is a moron. I hate to break it to you but the best show on television right now is Mad Men.
I would say it is close, Breaking Bad is better but I really like Dexter too. The first 4 seasons were really good, the last two were not as good, it looks like this one will be much better than the last two.
She had to do No Ordinary Family!!! The trailer for the new season was irratating. You see Dexter plunging a knife in a guy . . .and you still giving him the benefit of the doubt??? DEBS has all was been an idiot and a moron and beyond annoying. But this is ridiculous Rocket River
what..the ....**** ....is wrong with you. Mad men is overrated as ****, got into it a bit but no...nooo way. The sopranos is good, but BB is better. I think the distinction is pretty clear.
Great episode tonight. How the heck is there going to be a whole season if the first episode ends like THAT! Crazy!
Wow a lot more happened in that one episode than I expected....and what a cliff hanger. Absolutely can not wait for the next episode and to find out the antagonist/plot for this season. On a side note, it's pretty funny how cliche they went with Mike, just like all the other black characters the show has had.
Credit to the writers for going in such a bold direction so early in the season. Unexpected and truly awesome.
Very good ending to an average episode! I hope they don't cop out and say that it was all a daydream or something. How the hell did she find the slides? As long as he takes care of Deb or Laguerta this season, I'll be happy.
I don't know why you are in this thread if you haven't watched the episode yet, but obviously spoilers below Didn't expect them to have Deb find out this soon. That completely changes things. I figured at least part of this season would be about her slowly finding out more and more about Dexter. I guess she's going to at least temporarily accept it. I'm thinking he's going to be on fragile ground for the rest of the season, then he's going get found out at the end, and the 8th season (they said 8th would be the final right?) will be him on the run. Could be completely wrong though. Pretty good episode overall. I'm glad the plot is moving along as fast as it is, I was worried they'd drag a lot of things out. Though, watching shows with writing as good as say Breaking Bad has kinda hurt my opinion of shows like this. For example- how is he getting away with killing a guy in baggage claim? Isn't it very very likely that someone could walk in? Seems careless.
