Gilmore Girls - I swear they talk 90mph.

Sex and the City - good title, not a good show

Days of Our Lives - the girls have it on in the lunch room at work from 12-1, all it is entertainment, fun to make fun of, hell I could write that stuff.

Sex In The City is the worst chick show ever. And to think it's going to be made into a movie is even worse.

So, is the just a general "chick shows that you like" thread now?

Friends is a great show that my wife got me hooked on...probably my second favorite sitcom of all time, right after Married With Children. The writing was very sharp, the jokes were always fresh, and even though it got a little soap opera-ish towards the end with Ross and Rachael, it was still as funny at the end as it was at the beginning.

Golden Girls - A very intelligent, well written show with just the right amount of raunchiness mixed in. Don't knock it until you try it. Plus, it had a great theme song...

Gilmore Girls - Witty writing, good storylines.....oh yeah, and Lauren Graham is HOT...

Trading Spaces - I think the show is better without Paige Davis, although she was hot in those dark jeans

Clean Sweep - just because my wife and I are both obsessive compulsive nead freaks. It simply boggles the mind at how people can accumulate that much crap

Moving Up - still haven't been able to figure out if Doug Wilson is gay or not...

Property Ladder and Flip That House - I swear, the idiots that try to flip these houses HAVE to be actors or something. Nobody can be that dumb and be a successful house flipper. Oh yeah, and Kirsten Kemp is uber hot...

I still can't watch anything on Bravo. Top Chef is marginally entertaining, but it's too much like The Next Food Network Star

Desperate housewives and Friends, the later which I hate.

Aside from that not much else, we have fairly similar taste

If there were no women in the world, then we wouldn't have reality TV and soap operas.

I'm real sorry they ever invented that horsecrap. The only audience keeping that crap afloat is the ladies and the men they make watch.

We couldn't just have "American Idol". We had to have 10 other shows based off of it. One wasn't enough!

In my book, there should only be two or three reality TV shows. "American Idol" is one of them since it was an original idea (although I personally can't stand it any more). "Survivor" since it started this reality TV BS in the first place. "Hell's Kitchen" is the other because we need a British chef who drops the "F" word every other sentence while cussing out those sorry saps under him.

However, I would gladly axe all three of those shows in return for zero reality TV.

I make her DVR her shows while I watch sports.

She likes anything involving "death and murder", as she says.

Cold Case Files, which is boring
CSI, which is okay in small doses
The First 48, which is interesting, but they never seem to solve the crime in 48 hours

Also, the cooking shows (she used to be a chef):

Hell's Kitchen: Pretty horrible, with all the "intense" scenes before commercial. When we come back...the most shocking moment in Hell's Kitchen history... Then some guy drops an onion on the floor or something.
Top Chef: I don't really catch it much anymore, though it's alright. The chefs are definitely more qualified than those on Hell's Kitchen.
Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares: Great show. I've recorded and watched it for myself.

Thats so funny, my girls does the exact same thing. anything w/ rick steves or samantha brown must be watched.

amazingly for a white chick she hates friends and i as a brotha love that show.
she hates desperate housewives and sex in the city.

we both love king of queens and top model.

she knows i don't f*ck with Engaged and underage, sweet sixteen, so you think you can dance and project runway. When those come on i run far far away.

She made me get into gilmore girls and i was hooked
    (lauren graham, nuff said).
Big Love- awesome idea, dude w/ three wives.

My wife is watching Age of Love right now. That's why I'm in the office on the computer while watching the Astros getting their asses handed to them again.

Shannon usually watches some stuff on vh1 or E!. news or gossip shows, doesn't really bother me. I don't really get into "Cold Case" though. I make fun of it, probably ticks her off.

We nearly got addicted to the Sopranos though.

My wife is really into DS9, and made me buy her the whole series. Its dorky, but man, its better than Friends or Sex and the City.
