I never watch premiers of new shows. Im usually always going back to catch the 1st season of shows. South Park is an exception which we caught it one late drunken night when it first started.
seinfeld cheers newsradio quantum leap ER (I watched the first 3 seasons on re-runs and since the season 4 I watched "live", by that I mean I watch a new episode every week, I know they are not live)
Since I wasn't alive the first time these shows were on: Star Trek the original series Get Smart Gilligan's Island In general though I don't watch much primetime TV as most of the time I'm busy during primetime so mainly get to follow shows through reruns or recordings. Here's some recent shows that I like that I've mostly followed through reruns or other: Battlestar Galactica 24 Lost The Venture Brothers Robot Chicken Ghost in the Shell
Friends (needed something to watch during dinner on the couch when I was single) Recently, and because of the wife, Law & Order.
Arrested Development - never could figure out when it came on, and I was rarely home at the time, but I knew I was getting it on DVD after seeing one episode of it Three's Company - I don't know if I was born yet, thank you TV Land Law & Order (all 17 versions of it) - caught it on rerun one late night and it grew on me Shows that I didn't bother checking out until people kept telling me 'you have to watch this!' Heroes Lost Battlestar Galactica (the new ones) I don't get to watch tv regularly so I don't think I'll be catching anything the first time around for a long time.
I really can't think of any other than those that ran in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Just kidding, Law and Order: SVU. Some of the dumbest writing ever, but I can't stop watching.
