Agreed. Not only that but it's all just race-based humor. WE GET IT! Come up w/ more jokes, or more likely steal other jokes that don't deal solely on race. I think the intention for this show was to be a Spanish Chapelle. The difference is Chapelle's humor makes attempts at social commentary too, while Mencia makes attempts at making fun of r****ds.
they should cancel kathy griffin on bravo, i dont know if she has an actual "show" or not but every time i flip to that channel i see her and i want to throw my remote at the screen i hate Mind of Mencia also
Nba inside stuff. Freaking "Survivor".I can't believe that show is still on. Every season shares the Same story line and same stereocasted characters. Don Francisco presenta Sabado Gigante. I also agree that Mencia sucks. So many authentic comedians out there that deserve a shot; yet this guy is getting paid millions for a crappy show. Paul rodriguez wants his jokes back!
I havent watched tv in ages, havent heard of most of these shows. Then I see mentions of Power Rangers and Survivor still being on and feel relieved that I havent missed much of anything. Real World also gets my vote. American Dad, mentioned in a long ago Family Guy thread that American Dad was the better made show. Glad some people actually share that opinion in here. Stumbled on Byron Allen's show the other night. Near montone lifeless voice the end of each segment before the commercials- "Coming up neeeeeexxt...." almost like he was bored with the show that day. Maybe its time for that one to find its way off TV also
Desperate Housewives. This show started out ok in the first season but after that it jumped the freaking shark. Maybe the most annoying chick show since Sex in the City.
I agree that Mencia's skits would have been better if they had better writers. They do the setup ok, but then they give carlos free reign to do commentary. and when he can't think of something (often) he just talks about beaners and how hispanics would do it in a different dumber way. I get it Carlos, you are ashamed of your race but hide it behind jokes you converted from black and jewish comedians you are jealous of for being more talented. Get over it. The worst part of it is is that now because of his suckiness and repetitive jokes, latinos have been tagged with the stereotype that they aren't as bad as the bad black stereotypes, but they aren't as good as the good black stereotypes either.

From what I understand, he's not even hispanic(?). That show is horrible. He's a one trick pony and his one trick isn't even original. Racial humor is dull and unoriginal. How does he even pull a paycheck? The Jimmy Kimmel Show. I don't know who decided that guy was funny. I didn't even like The Man Show. Too contrived. Real World. I'm not going to lie, I really liked the first 4 or 5 seasons. But since the Las Vegas season, it's been HORRIBLE. They used to have diverse people in there, now it's just frat boys and bimbos playing up to the cameras.
Are you serious, that's funny, I still can't believe a station signed up for that and expected to keep some sort of credibility
