68 WPM I've lost a good deal of typing speed since I stopped frequenting internet chat rooms. When I took keyboarding in High School I did around 110wpm and had a terrific nap after I finished typing the daily assignment in the first 15 minutes. The downside though, is that when you type that fast and make a typo, you have to go back an entire sentance or more to fix it. I do miss the connection with the keyboard I had made. You know, when you stop having to think about how to spell the words or where a key is, and what you are thinking appears on screen. I still have the occasional burst of speed when typing, but it's not nearly as effortless as it was.
i've def. lost some in the last 5 years.. and this was in the middle of a grad school class w/the teacher going on and on 104 wpm 2 errors
64 WPM 4 errors 94% Acc Not the fastest or most accurate, but I get the job done. I'm actually much faster than i thought i was.
I got 36 WPM with 8 erors...I need to practice! Next time i will get 100 WPM with less errors than 8!
