It depends on how deep rockets go and Yao 's recovery

If we get to the WCF/F, then whatever we have done to get there is working. Adding an injured guy to the mix who COULD end his entire career if he's not careful is not the route to take.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I can't wait for Yao to get back, but he needs to come back when he is healthy. If he comes back early for ANY reason and makes this a chronic problem, I'll be pissed.

To tell the truth, u like Yao in if we make further in playoffs?

I mean the team will be in a good shape at that time , will Yao's return break the chemistry then?

Anyway, I 'd like our big fella turn back ASAP.

    Raise your opinions plz.

Were gonna need him if we reach the semis or WEstern Conference game. So if he can come back in time we would welcome his services.

That's not realistic.he needs 4 months to recover before playing on the court.

    Bingo.

When did we become so delusional? He had freaking surgery yesterday. They put screws in his foot. It's not something you mess around with. It's not just his career you talking about shortening, it's his quality of life. It's hard enough for people who are his size to keep their legs from breaking down. Now you want him to risk that for your gratification?

Lets take a look at the time frame.

    Yao surgery on monday 3-3-08
about a month before light upper limb exercise
about another month before some exercise on the legs
by this time we are in the playoffs.

maybe another month for training and get himself back to 70% prior to injury.

I think Yao should be available by WC final for 10 to 15 mins.
By finals, he should be 15 to 20 mins.

No, because he might be a liability and ruin the team chemistry if the Rox made it that far already.

As long as he's healthy (100%) and can play effectively (would have been out 3 months). Let him do his thug thissle
