you know he was joking by reading the last sentence:

"A couple of picks and a young player who can compliment rising stars Novak and Spanoulis?"

    IT"S A BAD JOKE.

I watch/follow the Rockets religiously. I even base my work schedule on the days the Rockets play/don't play.

What if I was born in Toronto? ugh.

I'm just taking the post loss panic and depression already on this board and ratcheting it up a notch.

I read a lot more than I post. I have been around here long enough to know who is who. Don't let the registration date fool you.

    I am not suprised.

Let me put it in an easier-to-understand way: the original post makes sense. People attack the OP are most likely blinded by their love of Rockets and lose the ability of reasoning.

if VanGundier is playing the devil's advocate like one guy said, I take back everything I said and I apologize. it just went by me easily

I was surprised that a quality poster (at least IMHO) like VanGundier would say something like that. so I hope that he was trying to bring out the YOFs rather than expressing his own opinion.

btw, if playing the devil's advocate was your intention, sorry for spoiling it for you :p

This is a lame attempt of Van Gundier to take a jab at posters that he has problem with here. But it's done in a very stupid way though. It's really sad that these fools have to pollute this wonderful board with all these senseless and dumb threads.

The lesson is sarcasm does not equal humor.

YES demand a trade to los angeles...
    lots of chinese population
open resturants at hollywood will be better business.
    great coach
great 1-2 combo that can actually last a whole season and win games.
legit contender no matter who the opponent is.
    great bench players...
and last but not least not wasting his talent and youth with 30 pts per night while still losing

I think if people start 3 pointless threads they should have their thread starting capabilities suspended for 6 months.

Can we get some real analysis on this board for a change?

Yeah, Yao needs to bounce man.

He should just demand a trade to like SA and get payed minimum salary to sit on the bench (or play) and ride that team to a championship ring. T-Mac needs to do the same thing.

That's a good career choice for them both.

Meanwhile, UltraLucas and SuperNova will bring home the ring right afer the Spurs with Yao and McGrady do.

    :D

We should trade Yao for Nate Robinson and a rim. Afterall, they're the only two things that have ever blocked his shots...
