After tonite game against Jazz, Cat started to say: "I am a better player than Steve. I am not the one to be traded."
I know this is your opinion and you may have a better pulse on what is going on inside JVG, CD and Les's circle, but I am not convinced. I would not be suprised at all if Francis is traded sometime before next offseason. I'd say a solid 1/3 chance, what coaches, GMs, & owners publically say and think can change fairly quickly. Like I said if we heard a peep of insecurity about Francis's future from any of the key people (JVG, CD or Les) is the day after Francis's Rocket tenure is over. If there is any crack in the belief system that Yao, JVG and SF can reach their potential one is as good as gone--if that happens I think it is SF. I don't base this on any inside info I admit--but that is my educated guess looking from the outside on the problems and handcuffs on the current team.
Jeff, That is very distressing news to me. I don't understand it. I mean how many opportunities are they going to give him? It is like Francis is some wizard or something and has Les, CD, and everyone else on Rockets Mgmt enchanted or under some spell. As long as we have Yao and insist on playing Steve as a 1, I don't ever see this mix working out.
