We ARE better then that. It is the few guys on the BBS that believes guys like Tinsley, Marbury, etc... will make our team better.

Maarrrtiin, and Bimathug all made excellent points.

No we should not. Thank you. Enjoy your peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Put a squid on it so that it squirts ink all over when you bite the sandwich and then use the ink to write NO THANK YOU on your face and then go look in the mirror and ask yourself if we should trade for Tinsley and then read your face and oh yeah also remember to eat the squid quickly because sometimes they come back to life as squid zombies and those are pretty damn scary if you've ever seen one but no one I know has ever seen one ... and LIVED.

Nothing else really needed to be said. I am no Rocket fan but I would not add him. Never played at a high enough level to justify tthe risk regardless of what it would take.

just another year rafer gets used by cp3 and deron williams. hopefully ron artest goes out and punishes those pg's for burning rafer. our PG's will always be our achilles heel. i still cant forget how cp3 disrespected rafer last year, not only in the game but in print. hey it could be worse, a combo of matt maloney and brent price would be nice.

Healthy and motivated tinsley>rafer. but there is no such a thing anymore. jamal has or had immense potential. he has some of the quickest hands you see on defense. he has a great ability to find his teammates and get them the ball in the tightest situations. he has great handles. he can easily be a 10 points and 12 to 13 assists type player if he were motivated.

I wouldn't trade for him because we already have a PG who could out do him so why waste the assets for him? IMO.But it would be interesting putting Tinsley and Rafer in a bar fight though..

Overrated? I really don't hear peeps talking about him to begin with. I saw him playing with Yao at the Olympics and they mesh quite well; he knows how to get the ball to Yao, he has speed, a good distributor and can hit the three (observations from the china games).

    No I'm not Asian.

Are you saying that Tinsley would somehow not get abused by CP3 and Deron Williams. They abuse almost every PG in the NBA so i think they might somehow find a way to have big games against a fat, lazy, horrible shooter whose current team wants nothing to do with him.

Eh, I don't think getting a better PG would solve any problems in that regard. A guy like Mo Williams for example, would still get burned by elite PGs. Alston isn't even bad on defense really, its just his shooting percentage is low. Well, now we have 4 scorers in the starting line-up, so he shouldn't be taking that many shots this season.
