I would like to hold onto him if we can pick up an elite post player. He is the perfect roleplayer SG. Great D, hits the open jumper, runs the break, cuts to the basket. I guess I'm still hoping to get Howard, Gasol, Pekovic, or some other star level 7 footer--a great post player we can surround with our fantastic perimeter roleplayers.

Lee fits better with the team that is constructed now. I think Martin needs a new team that better fits his strengths and what he does best.

We must destroy the village in order to save it!

Since when have we been living in fear of free agency? We can trade him if (a) he's a chip in a blockbuster trade; (b) we decide he's not good enough; and maybe (c), we need his cap space for the offseason, so we wouldn't be able to give him a contract anyway. But, I think we'll be able re-sign him and offer a max too. In no circumstance should you dump him because you're afraid he'll leave.

The Lakers are "Saying" that they wont deal Gasol unless it brings back a star Point Guard in the process. I always thought Rondo was their primary target, but even Rondo has been balked at by the Lakers brass in trade rumors. If thats not good enough to let go of Gasol, I dont know what is.

Now, I dont exactly believe that it will have to bring back a CP3/DWill quality PG, but the Lakers brass will absolutely have to get more for Gasol to sell this to Jerry Buss. The Rockets will still have to throw a few more assets LA's way.

That being said, there has not been any indication that the Clippers would do this deal even though I believe Kevin Martin would be be scary good playing off of BG, and CP3.

If I had to guess Id say the Rockets would also have to send Patrick Patterson to the Lakers along with Goran Dragic going to the Clippers, and maybe a first round pick going to the Lakers. Oh, and the Rockets would probably bring back Ryan Gomes and Jason Kapono or similar players.

I like the idea though. I think it makes everyone happy. Good job.

No. Trade KMart and start Lee at the 2 and resign him at the end of the season.

forgotten.... nah.... Martin should be moved though.... I don't care much about his scoring if he is giving up the opponents 20 plus points
