The mistake might be looking for matchups against certain teams instead of home court. Home court advantage is as important as who they play against. The Rockets arent a bottom 6 to 8 seed trying to match up against a more "vulnerable" high seeded team (Ex: Golden State wanting to match up against Dallas). They're a top team (or could have been) with home court advantage looking to crush one of the lower teams. Rockets lose the next 2 and its possibly no home court at all.
