Who here has even hinted at Lin being the greatest in the game or even better than Harden.

To answer the question. More times than not you want your most sure handed ball handler to close out the game which would be Harden. However I would prefer if he didn't take 20 out of 24 seconds to decide what to do with the ball.

Actually, I was kind of upset at first, but now it's really funny. Keep posting on this topic dude. So Lin's last second shot, do you think that was poor technique/skill/talent, or just bad decision making ('cause it was not an open look).

So that would lead you to lin controlling the ball to do what? Find harden if he can with less time on the clock?

Yup you are right. I am actually Jesus and can predict the future and in 2010 knew Jeremy Lin would be a Houston Rocket and became a member and posted 2000+ posts nothing to do with him in order to disguise my Lin worshiping cult.

So he was not an offensive threat scoring 38 points against the Spurs without Harden playing?

King everyone knows you are just a troll. PLease find another forum where you can pleasure yourself through antagonizing comments. Also, what kind of credibility is being half-asian have to do with anything? No one has mentioned race and no one has said lin is better than Harden.

He had a good game, hooray, fireworks and explosions and ponys. Lin had a good game vs the spurs when he had 38 points. That let the league know to start double teaming him right?

In the NBA the definition of an "offensive threat" is not someone who commands double teams or else there would be only 10-15 NBA players who are offensive threats.

A few pages back a dude said he agreed with me and hated all the Asian stuff, I stated my race. So race was mentioned. Saying Lin should have the last shot would say he is better than harden even if its just better at shooting the last shot, but since everyone is saying that no one has said that, I guess yall are confused.

No one said they thought Lin > Harden. Not a single post mentioned that Lin was the greatest player in the game or the greatest on the team. Even the OP said that "I know James Harden is obviously a much better player than Jeremy Lin." The first post that you made in this thread was:

A point that has already been disproved in this very thread.

Does Lin command the same amount of attention that harden does?

Do you read half the threads in the GARM? You're either blind or dumb to not see how many idiots here think Lin is the GOAT. It's kind of sad. Lin is a good player, that's it. He hasn't done **** to prove to anyone he is even close to a star player. He won't even be a candidate to make the HOF until he does something when it matters.

People don't care about regular season stats. Playoffs are where you make a name for yourself. Howard and Harden have done that. Until the day Lin can get off the injury list and do some great things in the playoffs, he will be no better than John Wall but with a less skill set.

Damn, so Harden getting double-teamed is why Lin had a good game? Should've known that dude was just a system player. Quite clearly he would never have success being the primary guy on another team...oh wait.

Hate to break it to you.
Harden > Lin > Harden ISO
Harden open = insert name open > Harden molested by 3 defenders

I wouldn't mind Harden control the ball if he can break down defense and take it himself or pass to open man but he just doesn't like it for some reason when the game is on the line.

Just saw the ESPN highlights. Not one mention of the 87-87 tied game back in 2012 when Lin drained a 3. It could've been repeated, but Harden wanted the glory all to himself. I hate how they glamorize Harden every chance they get and only mention Lin for the website hits and hate comments. It reminds me of the Yao days when they would show a highlight of him doing a boring dunk. Yep. That's all he's capable of. Boring dunks.

ESPN sucks. I'm a part of that club on Facebook by the way.

Again.... Your initial premise was that Lin wouldn't do this well without Harden. I said you are wrong.

Please tell me anywhere in that exchange of words did I remotely hint at Lin being the bigger offensive threat?
