I assume we can all agree that the Warriors are considered the pinnacle for all teams to aspire to, correct?
THEY are the ones to beat.

    And with MDA:
    - We went to WCF last year
    - Had our foot on their throats (up 3-2) until CP's hammy went out
    - Won Coach of Year
    - Set franchise records
    - Amassed the best record in the league last year
    - Are considered a top 5 team this year
    - Helped James harden set franchise and NBA records
    - We dispatched a tough Jazz in 5 games

So, OP is demanding coach's head because GSW has been able to hold home court in the 1st 2 games
where we've only lost by a slim margin?
Who is this miracle coach we are expecting to come in a take us to the promised land?

I think with a truly elite coach we win last year even with CP3's injury and the failure of an officiating job.

I don't know a whole lot about Bzdelik. He's kind of a fuzzy mystery to me. I don't know what he does behind the scenes for the Rockets. I admit my ignorance of many things. I really wish I did know more. I don't understand how Green's and Faried's defense while he's the defensive coach. That's a thing I don't get because I don't understand what his role is and what his interactions with the players are like. So, I dunno. It was foolish of me to say I've seen enough of him, because actually my real problem is that I've seen so little of what he actually does that I don't really understand him at all. I only see what I see on the court...which in itself is usually bewildering.

Nice deflection. No credible coach says "oh, we can't beat them" and just rolls out the same ****. If you try numerous adjustments and it still doesn't work, then yeah, you just tip your hat and take the L. This is not a good excuse, dude...

anyone talking about getting rid of MDA should also bring up viable alternatives that could do better...if not, then shut up

You forgot helping Harden to his first MVP. ;)

This team is close and matches up well against GS. Have some faith.

So, would a better coach be able to handle ball as well as CP or shoot midrange?

Our backup PG's were Aaron Jackson, Demetrius Jackson, Bobby Brown and Briante Weber.
You are telling us that a REAL coach could get the same amount of production from one of these guys as HoF PG Chris Paul?
    MAN, THAT is SOME Coach!

Who IS this coach?? We need to pursue this guy ASAP

I didn't say any of that - you just said that.

I also never said a better alternative was available. I simply said that MDA was in large part responsible for the shortcomings of the team. He's a good strategic coach, not elite.

Phil Jackson available? You see what other teams are hiring? The most funniest is Luke Walton.

We want to fire MDA because we can't get past the greatest team ever assembled?

    Here's what you DID say

So, tell us, WHICH COACH could
    1) Beat the Warriors last year with our team, ESPECIALLY without CP
    2) AND can also beat BAD officiating at the same time

    We're listening. . .

    Lock:
    Popovich

    Potentially:
    Rivers
    Carlisle
    Budenholzer

Dealing with refs is part of coaching. Also, better coaching could have resulted in a win in game 1, which would have avoided the need to play any games without cp3 or with trash refereeing

No will at all. Literally already admitted he won’t coach Harden.

    Plays Gerald Green.

    Doesn’t play Nene(enough).

Doesn’t coach an entire side of the ball.

Bad with rotations. Bad with timeouts.

    He’s a D- coach at best.

And most telling is how it took Capela being on his deathbed to even imagine playing Nene, who is still a good NBA player. To make it clearer: He doesn’t know how to spot a good rotational player. House being benched for Green is indefensible in any logical way.

Mike Dan and Tony got you within a quarter of knocking off the most talented team in the league in at least the last 20 years …. maybe ever and that includes being screwed out of 90something points in that series ?

Now he's put this team in that same opportunity ….

    Got someone better ?

    Ahhhh, NOW you're backpedaling.
You originally said "I think with a truly elite coach we win last year even with CP3's injury and the failure of an officiating job"
NOW, it's not, 'they could win without CP".
NOW it's 'a better coach would have won game 1 and a gentleman's sweep of arguably the best team ever assembled".

You surmise that 4 other coaches could have accomplished that.
    STILL laughing. . . .

I'm not defending that MDA is the BEST COACH of ALL TIME. He's not.
But I also don't believe these other coaches have superpowers that could have overcome the odds and factors we were dealt.

I guess at least we have the 5th best coach in the NBA by your standards.
    It's not ALL bad.

bro, is your brain working correctly? "I think with a truly elite coach we win last year even with CP3's injury and the failure of an officiating job"

with popovich we win even with CP3's injury and the failure of an officiating job. what don't you understand?

i never backtracked from they could win without cp3

i was at game 1 - did you even watch it? we were within striking distance with roughly 5 min left in the game. you don't think adjustments that changed the outcome of 1-2 possessions could've given us a chance to win?
