He was pretty good for the Spurs last year. Won't be able to afford him.

If he is willing to sign for the taxpayer MLE, why not? He has the length and lateral quickness to play as a 4 in our switch-heavy defensive scheme, and can create his own shot.

He only declined his PO so he can get one big contract like Ariza before he starts taking vet mins. Same as Ariza except Ariza will get a free ride on the Warriors if he can't find someone to pay him big money.

CD is no Morey, otherwise the Rockets may have acquired Battier and Kyle Lowry with the 24th pick from the Grizzlies. West thought that Rudy was only second to Kobe talent
    wise.

If they can get him on the cheap I say why not? Have him come off the bench with Gordon and a decent backup PG.

If he is really about winning and willing to take a paycut to get a ring (which is highly unlikely) bring him onboard.

I don’t get why people are so down on him consider all the we could offer is the tax payer MLE?

He’s a combo forward who can score with decent athleticism and strength. I remember him looking solid last year.

I agree with another poster though, I do like Thabo better (if he’s healthy).

He declined $9 millions, so he wants big money. He ain't signing for MLE.

His last chance at a 3 years $30 million contract from some dumb team like Orlando

He’s not opting out to take a paycut.

That said, anyone that can put the ball in the basket, not play terrible defense and play multiple positions would be useful against GS.

Always ask BASKETBALL thinking people questions such as these; not nba2k ppl lol. The answer is YES. We drafted him 1st. There comes a point where you want to win EVENTUALLY, SOMETHING, ANYTHING!!! If CP can convince LBJ and his god children to come to Houston; Rudy would be great to come off the bench or even start at the PF position for Tucker. Tucker could return to the bench x-factor donit all defensively guy. We could pick up Jeff Green for another length 3/D defender to follow LBJ and guard KD, Bring in D. Jordan for less than Capella (To Phoenix for the max) who will reunite lob city and another hometown guy (Look what it did for Gerald Green), lastly for the vet minimum we could choose from seth curry or any of the sharp shooters as marksmen. We'd loose EGO of course but replace him by commitee. Now positions 1-4 could shoot the 3 and create their own shot. Defense is mere scheming and effort. Also, if Phoenix offers Capela the max, that leaves Tyson Chandler as the odd man out. He might want to reunite with cp3 for cheap to back up DJ. Backup plan at the 3 if LBJ bolts to LA is Tyreke Evans. Just research his skillset from this past yr defensively and his shot creating along with his improved 3 point %.Thoughts.....
