Dude has 5 rings and is pretty clutch He's like Horry like an old Horry!

He could be good for this young team, teach Lowry and Dragic how to win in the playoffs if he puts his heart into this team he could be a good mentor.

I like the trade but dayuum he looks old AF!

The Houston Rockets... where once good PG's come to finish with a not so glorious ending.

Mark Jackson, Rod Strickland, Charlie Ward, Bob Sura, David Wesley and I know I'm missing some too.

We'll grow to like him, just you watch. We'll forgive him for his past transgressions and accept him as one of our own. I'm just glad we finally unloaded Flynn.

Seriously NO. You only respect those who fight hard for whatever team he's on.

Eh Sura was a 10-5-5 2 steals and very good defensive player when he was here. He was hardly finished. It was chronic injuries that ended his career way to prematurely.Wesely was pretty good in his first two seasons but age caught up with him in his last season.

Neither Battier nor Scola should have done anything. Not only did Fisher cheap shot, he did it like a whiny little b****. The Lakers were called soft, and so he did it, just to prove they weren't soft. The fact that it was a response to pressure not to look too soft just makes it worse.

As crappy as Kevin Love was for stepping on Scola , it wasn't like that. Fisher sucked that series. He sucks as a human being, and I will never cheer for him. I like a team in large part because of the players. Luckily I like the other players on our team, but I'll never cheer for ******* Fisher.

Come on, this is overblown. Both are winners and floppers... They understand each other on the ground of acting.

I think Scola should knock Fisher out first game during the intros. Then we buy out his contract. It's a win, win.

well feelings aside, you can at least hope his "dirty plays" will benefit us now.
and agin the dude is a veteran. which is something this team needs. i admit i hated his guts when he made the elbow connect with scolas face. so ill boo him for one game to let the animosity go. THEN, THEN I WILL GROW UP GOD DAMMIT:p

I feel dumber after reading some comments in this thread.

I will say this, whether we buy out his contract or keep him he will be professional about it.

He fills an immediate need our team has since lowry is out. With the compressed season and us being about a game out of the playoffs and a game or so out of home-court advantage (20ish games left) we need someone who can pick up the offense quick and just do the right things. Morey is looking for someone RIGHT now to replace Fisher. But if he can not do it, fisher will indeed do the job.

Fisher is not going to half-ass it.

I understand some of you may not like him for actual reasons but the majority of you hate him because he knocked down Scola. To those people: change your tampon and get over it.
