If you want to be "worried" about Harden, what about his "lifestyle" issues. Just because most young fans think it is cool to go clubbing, drink alcohol, and smoke dope does not mean that it is a good prescription for success as a professional athlete. While I like Harden ten times more than LBJ, James is a lean, mean, athletic machine. He doesn't really have arms like the photoshopped picture, but he seriously takes care of this body. Some great athletes have "survived" the party lifestyle, but most did not have "long" careers.
If you care so much, then do something by asking every strip club in houston to offer healthier options at their buffets
i think he's gonna try harder once he realizes in some games that he lost a few steps. and until then, he doesn't have the mentality of worrying about the season. i feel like negative feedback, haters motivate him a lot better than positive reinforcement. and he just friggn won MVP.
yea, you can eat buffet sushi off one of the naked woman also. Some say that's gross, but Harden say that's "fine" dining
Harden does look a little chunky in those photos and he has not been hooping as much this offseason as in years past. But I’ll look at it this way. He’s clearly starting to gear up for the season and is starting to train 2 months before Camp. That’s good. But it’s also good he took a break from the game. Which can be a plus. Harden deserves the benefit of the doubt. The one season he wasn’t at his best physically to start the year he still became only the second player at the time to avg 29/7/6 so I’m not to worried about what his body looks like at August 10th. He’ll be ready to rock come start of the season. One thing we do know is harden does love to hoop and is about basketball. That’s why I’m never to concerned in the summer about what he’s up too.
To be fair, that was also his least efficient season with his lowest ts% and lowest assist to turnover ratio.
I believe professional athletes have a responsibility to keep their bodys in shape year round. He looks out of shape but 2 months can get it corrected for sure. Another example how impressive Lebron career has been and the dedication he puts into it.
While I have no doubt that he'll be in better shape come season opener, I can't recall another elite level player (Lebron, Kobe, MJ, Wade, WB, KD, etc) getting this out of shape in the offseason.
LOL if you don't believe Dwiva isn't a cancer ON or OFF the court and believe Cory Brewer etc were all world beaters that year
