Should we be worried about Harden's 3 point shooting?

I would be, these bad shooting performances aren’t gonna help

 

Harden might be starting a new shooting streak with that last shot.

 

His hand is not 100%, he should rest although seems we need every little bit of him even against the freaking Suns

 

I'm worried. He's either not taking things seriously, which for James has historically led to falling into bad habits, or he's hurt.

If he is taking things seriously and not hurt, that's almost worse.

I like that he attacks when the shot isn't falling, but that shot needs to fall.

I hope the killer step back hasn't prematurely gone to his head.

Yeah, not impressive. But, he always goes through shooting slumps, so just hope the low one isn't during the finals, if we make it there. Even so, as long as he uses some ball sense, and keeps feeding the ones who are hot, instead of forcing bad shots and taking too many himself then we will be good. The problem is, when someone starts getting hot it always seems like they go to the bench. Now when I see someone get hot behind the arc, I think, now he will go to the bench......and he does.

 

He hits them when they count most!!

It's not a funk. He is just regressing back to his usual percentages. Harden is not a 40% 3 point shooter like Curry or Klay. Not a knock on him but he just isn't. Takes too many tough and sometimes ill advised 3's. So the early season 39%+ 3 point shooting was nt really sustainable

 

Harden was shooting a career high 38% prior to this rough stretch. Now he is exactly on his career average of 36.4%.

If his shooting was gonna regress to it's mean, it couldn't have happened at a better time.

 

That would be nice, but the highs and lows are pretty consistent, so I'd be surprised if he didn't

I think he needs to rest down the stretch. No excuse playing him 38 minutes against Phoenix.

Harden hasn't looked particularly good lately, not sure why. When he is shooting poorly he is also turnover prone. He is even missing free throws. Maybe the team told him to get all his clubbing out of the way before the playoffs.

 

Oh well. It's been a hell of a year.
