NOOOOO! If Bowen assists on the double team, he could stick his foot under Yao's foot from his blindside as he jumps. We will be ruined for the season.

Yao has already broken the same foot twice.

If that were to happen, accident or something remotely close to it, Bowen would be suspended for at least a year...

Except it wouldn't happen. This is one of Bowen's "talents." He "accidentally" places himself underneath a player. It's almost impossible to prove intent. Any of Bowen's little incidents could well be just physical play - it's the sheer # of players he's taken out that gives his intent away. Kind of like that friend who "forgets" his cash one too many times before going to your favorite no-credit card burger joint. Everyone does it - but repeatedly?

Isn't Yao's foot too big for Bowen anyways? If Bowen tries to stick a foot under Yao, he'll just get squished.

And for the record, I don't normally wish injury or anything like that upon any player, but Bowen would DEFINATELY be one of them.

Other few players would be: K.Malone, Pippen, J.Stackhouse (and the whole Mavs players, coach, and Owner).

What Tmac should do against Bowen should be sticking his ass up against like what Patterson did to Tmac. No stopping T mac now

The topic of the thread is about a potential injury, not scoring points.

I think the leagues' players are just too forgiving. They let Bowen get away with too much for far too long already. I suggest Rockets doing this:

1)All the teammates should agree on a secret code (such as "breakky" or "leggy").

2)In the game, if anyone of us is shooting a jumper and Bowen is around, the teammates should keep an eye out for Bowen's leg. If Bowen sticks his leg out exactly under our jumping player, shout the secret code.

3)Upon hearing the secret code, the player in the air should immediately look down and stomp his legs as hard as possible when he lands. The purpose is to break Bowen's leg.

Too bad it was Isaiah Thomas who made a complaint on this incident. The guy is part of the dirty detroit team.

I've said for a few years that I expect someone to blast Bowen's grill in retaliation for his dirty play. I can't believe it has never happened and you can be sure if Bowen had been in the league in the 80s or early 90s he would have gotten his ass kicked ten times over.

We should activate Bonzi just in case Bowen needs a beating.

McGrady should teach Yao to kick out when he shoots jumpers. He should also teach Yao to kick out when he slam dunks, too.
