I agree, look at what he did when he did get the chance at starting, I don't understand RA's coaching, its like he has short term memory loss for all his players.

I am still a bit skeptical about Wafer, but with Shane's struggles both defensively and offensively, this is definitely worth considering.

if we are down by 5 in the fourth qtr, I say YES because he is better than battier in creating his own shot and pentrating into the paint area.

But if we are up 7 in the fourth qtr, I say NO because he is not a good defender and not a good rebounder.

It depends on how he is playing and what sort of game it is.

But we should know one thing, Shane is always CLUTCH even if he is struggling all night long.

I am not completely sold on Wafer to say he can close games, but he should get some more minutes in the middle of the game to score points or at least penetrate the paint. Also his defensive game still could use some work, although it is improving.

Has Battier every grabbed a rebound in his life, probably not since he sleeps at the 3 pt line, if you seen Von play you notice he is very active around the paint as well, he snatches a lot of rebounds, even on his teammates Yao, Scola, Landry

the team staff should treat von as a superstar to boost his confidence because he has all the talent, he's just trying too hard to fit in.
