Rockets were winning early, then Robinson comes in and immediately the tide turns and the Warriors are about to blow us out. Luckily Robinson got out of there and we were able to win the game. McHale was smart enough to bench him for the rest of the game. Robinson is a project player who is not a rotation player in the NBA this year, maybe not ever. I'd rather have us go small ball and see how that goes than see Robinson because 9 times out of 10 the other team is gonna go on a run when he's on the floor.
He's had 1 decent game for us out of 4. The other one was in garbage time which doesn't count. I still think he could use some DLeague Experience.
Robinson must have really impressed in his 1 on 1 practices with McHale. I'm surprised McHale inserted him into the rotation that quickly.
um yes...he brings so much energy to our team...did you see how great he was vs the mavs...don't judge someone off of one game bro...if we're judging guys off of one bad game...then we would be saying harden and lin shouldn't be in the rotation...which is r****ded...no one is perfect
He's been pretty bad. The thing is he's different than our other PFs. Patterson, Morris, Dmo are all stretch 4s and he's not. Everyone kind of has to adjusts when he's in the game, not just him. It's going to take a while for him to get the hang of things.
The Rox need someone to give them something similar to what Asik gives them for short periods. Greg Smith has been inconsistent all year, and can't seem to get the defensive end. I don't see a much better option at this point.
Why do we pretend that Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris were the model for consistency now? Do yall remember what our weakest position was before the trade?
I don't hate him, but I don't like him. He's a bad player that makes Houston worse when he's on the floor. What's there to like?
He might be the best big and defending the pick and roll on the roster, so yes he has a spot in the rotation. This game isn't close if Harden makes 5 more shots. The question should be does Beverly need to be in the rotation anymore if he's going to be offensively timid like he has been since the Rockets signed Brooks.
The guy still has to learn schemes, it's only been a couple games. I was hoping they would install something for him rolling to the basket but it looks like he's going to have to find his offense within the flow. But his energy on D is much needed off the bench and if we have to play four shooters, I wouldn't mind seeing Robinson as the backup C in short bursts, gives way more activity than Smith nowadays.
Pretty much. He played bad this game but the previous two games were solid. He's not going to dominate or look good every night, neither is D-Mo. Neither did our last two guys any ways. Robinson had little to do with why we were down that game. We were down because Harden came out forcing it and Asik was getting pushed around for rebounds. Actually the only guy who came out ready to play was Parsons. When the other guys...the main guys stepped up, Rockets got right back in the game.
