They will NEVER bring this guy in. Thats just not how the Texans roll. They are about maintaining a classy organization and this guy will divide our locker room quicker than the Texans would be able to release him. It would be pretty sick to see him play alongside Andre though
Man, I just KNEW someone would have this. No, he's not worth A) The money he's still going to want, even though he's on the down side of his career and B) the trouble he'll cause in the locker room when he doesn't get enough passes thrown his way even though we have a receiver who's practically an order of magnitude better than him. There's a reason why a guy of his talent can't stay on one team. Keep Walters opposite AJ, then let DA or whomever run free across the middle in the 3 wide sets. Shoot, if the draft falls right (or wrong, depending on your point of view), Maclin might be available at 15 anyway. Take him if you want another wideout.
Dude you must want other posters on here to pick you apart. You know there is no way in hell the Texans would go after a player like Owens.
lay off him guys, all he asked was if the Texans should take a look at TO, which I'm pretty sure they did...very quickly and then looked away, lol
Let me think for a second .... euhm, No way José! T.O. is going to the Giants, I guess. They could use a WR and it would make them more contenders than they already are.
I seriously hope the OP was just joking with this thread. Signing TO is the absolute worst thing this team could do right now. We are on the cusp of taking that next step. TO could dash all that to **** and set us back a while if he caused any real problems (and he WILL).
Here is what i would do, only because I'm a nice guy and because I want the best for jerry jones. I would send him jacoby's highlights from the 2007 preseason or A.D's regular season highlights and ask for a second rounder. He can't have both, just one. who knows, jerry might do it. It's worth a shot.
