As a thirty year old expected to just be a back up... David Carr had what six years? with arguably the best wide receiver in the league and lets not forget dominic davis was a dominant running back... not to mention the same coaching that schemed an offense to give us a probowl qb...Russell has none of that.. Comparing David Carr at this point in his career to jamarcus and where he is in his career is straight up jibba jabba..
i'm only comparing them to the extent that both guys are very talented and had all the "tools", but that doesnt meant they will be worth a damn.
say your a patriots fan brady broke his spine..you have a choice... (in a parrallel universe..) Russell or Carr?
In no way am i campaigning that Jamarcus needs to be our new star..but his career isn't over at all times he was more of a threat then david carr ever was...
a threat to Luby's  Obviously he is young enough to salvage a career. But the problem is that he has to want to salvage it. SO far, he has shown no effort to improve himself.
HAHAHAHA.. This is true, i'd let the guy ride the pine for a small contract...let him learn from schaub.. Jamarcus has a freakin' cannon.. he just needs to fine tune that puppy..
