Blackmon and Floyd will most likely be gone. I wouldn't mind having Jeffery.

If Broyles bounces back from the ACL injury, I'd love to see him on the Texans.

for me the draft needs would be:
    1. WR
    2. NT
    3. CB
    4. S

Depends what we see from Yates and even if he doesnt do good, he is a rookie, and could be better in 2 years. I dont think they cut Leinart. If the texans didnt draft Yates, then it could be a possibility.

I dont follow college football, so I dont really know what players are good or who would fit the texans.

Right now it's impossible to say. We really have to give Yates a chance before making any judgements.

No way in hell we draft a guy early in the draft. We have our starter QB in schaub.

If schaub were a runner it would be cause for concern, but he's always been a statue. This isn't a shoulder injury, and it's not likely to re-occour, kind of a freak accident.

If Schaub gets hurt again next year, and re-gains that injury prone label then you think about it, not now.

Why does everyone want a nose tackle? Is Shaun Cody that bad? or is it because he lacks a proper back-up?

My choice would still be corner to replace Kareem:

The Texans allow 4.2 yards per attempt passing to the right (best in league by a yard), 7.8 to the left (13th), and 8.7 up the middle (17th). I'll let everyone guess which of our cornerbacks covers the left .

Unless Yates just look like he has no chance to be a solid NFL QB, I wouldn't draft a QB at all. Given Leinert's checkdown tendencies, the Texans may be served to get another veteran backup. But as far as the draft's concerned, not unless there's a 1st round QB on the board in the 3rd round who's perfect for our offense.

I was against drafting a QB in 2012, but I may reconsider it now. I was down for drafting a QB in the first or second round in 2013 though.

Next April 2012 draft, I'd like to see a Safety or Corner in the first, followed by a Receiver.

What's that? You say our defense is good enough this year? The past decade's champion Ravens, Steelers, Giants, and Bucs laugh in your face. Every other champion that didn't win in this fashion had a top 3 QB at the helm, something we won't be able to get in the next three years (which is our "Andre window" so to speak).

Pass rushing is like pitching. First you get it, and then you get some more of it.

Case Keenum got exposed for the like 100th time in his career

Pocket Passers really dont have any value at the college level like they used to anymore

Dual-Threats are more common in college now

I thought we were talking about pro potential of quarterbacks? What does a 6th year starter have to do with it?

We need to draft a backup for Yates:grin:

Why waste $10 million a year on Schaulb?

Given how badly Atlanta's offense was, do you really think we'd only have 10 points on the board if Schaub was playing?
