I wouldn't mind have Von back, but I also wouldn't mind Jermaine Taylor getting those minutes instead.

No, we need another vet, a high character guy who can replace Shane if he's traded.

The guy was a great outside shooter while he was here. I see flashes of him in jermaine taylor, but he is not there yet. I wouldn't mind him back, plus he is a great finisher around the rim

This is why i still read your post, i would have been all over bringing him back last season, but Taylor has the same potential(more athletic actually) and half the ego as Von. We are yet to see if JT can fill a stat sheet after being given good minutes. If we give up Taylor somehow, then ofcourse im down.

no, we have enough scoring on the perimeter, we gritty defensive minded players, especially if we lose trevor or shane.

Jermaine would be just fine as our backup two. He's probably the most athletic player on the team and uses it well (unlike stupid players like Stromile Swift or Gerald Green). He showed some flashes last year. He played against Kobe pretty well in that game when he started and was complimented by Kobe after that game. And I believe Adelman had said that he would like to give Jermaine starter minutes, except there's no room for that opportunity with the talent already.

Von Wafer is a great talent and love to watch him play. But he just can't get his attitude straight. He had problems at Heritage Christian, FSU, every NBA team he was with, and got cut at Olympiacos four months into a two year contract.

Dude no one likes a rake that goes only half way... you must be blazed with your love of wafer or you lose all respect.

No need. Seems Jermaine Taylor is developing well based off of what we saw last season and it seems like were gonna need more of a defensive wing since it seems like Ariza and/or Battier is gonna be traded.

Oh my damn. Not this again.

I haven't even read the thread. DD must be all over this.

We can do better than Von.

after the free agency tornado clears, we'll see. It doesn't make sense to sign him at all at this point. The Lowry/Brooks duo works nicely and JT showed some good signs. I liked Waker but he was a bit too eager to shoot. There's a difference between attack and shoot and he didn't seem to know it. For that reason, I say that unless his price is low, we shouldn't sign him
