Should the Rockets sign Von Wafer to fill void at back SG?

    Signing Wafer and playing Taylor aren't mutually exclusive. Besides, I think Morey will only sign Wafer if we give up a couple of wing players in a Bosh S&T. He's basically at best insurance for us.

    Eh...why the heck not? I wouldn't make it a priority, but he brings you instant offense off the bench. IF we lose some wing players in a deal with someone, I'd like to see Von in a Rockets uniform.

    So i'm guessing it's been confirmed he's perfectly healthy, right? Otherwise we surely wouldnt be suggesting him....


    and Adelman is high on Taylor, he's actually said he believes he's a starter in this league...dont remember him saying that about wafer, or anyone saying it for that matter.

    I agree that Von is a high-energy player ... but didn't he left this team for $$$ ??? I think he's not reliable enough ... :rolleyes:

    Taylor must be talked about in the S&T with Bosh. Which is just fine and dandy with me.

    Von is the backup plan in case we lose taylor

    I think we should at least invite Von Wafer to traning camp and have him compete with Jermaine Taylor for the back-up SG position... It could make things interesting!

    It would be "Taylor vs Wafer" training camp.... :grin:
