We are not going to sign him.

I like Delonte. I hope he gets a good contract. But I don't think he will because of his bi-polar issues, his run ins with the law, and of course the rumor.

Something tells me that he will go back to Boston if the offers were even. He can back up Rondo and Allen and had a good time the first time he was in Boston.

Wait, y'all think he'll help us against lebron? It's quite the opposite. Lebron is going to torch us for 50 pts and 20 rebs if West signs with us. He's not going to forget something like that.

Delonte West is a great player, and I love what he's done with LeBron's mother.
I WOULD NOT however want him because he's crazier then a rat in a tin shyt house.

Yeah but he wouldn't be able to concentrate, he'd be too busy trying to get the mental picture of West bangin his moms out of his head. I see a lot of 3 second violations.

    1. Do we even have space? Last I heard we're maxed out and we spent our MLE on Brad.

    2. Delonte is nuttier than a fruitcake. I don't want psychos on this team. He might end up comitting suicide and taking the entire team with him, desperado-style (since he apparently watches Antonio Banderas on the side).

    3. 3rd string guys rarely play. Unless he's signed for the vet min., why waste a lot of money on a 3rd pg when Lowry can already play both pg and sg slots? It doesn't make sense. At all. Let JT take on the 3rd backup SG pt and let someone like Ish SMith handle the 3rd pg pt.

I think that should be D.West signature move from now on. Anytime he makes a shot or anything he should go Will Ferrell Blades of Glory on everyone and start dry humping the air... lol

He's a grown man. He can get past the mental images. If it bothered him in clev it was because West was constantly there, in games, practice, locker room, etc...Against the rockets he'll be on the bench more than likely, perfect for Lebron to constantly score while West does the watching.

I don't agree with this point.

I like Chase, but I feel Chase and Battier are both best served sticking at the 3. Ariza is the only guy that can reasonably slide over and defend at the 2 IMO. I don't have tons of faith in Taylor.

I don't see West is much more of a risk than Wafer, Bonzi, et al.

I really would rather see another option backing up the 2, but a 6-3 hustle guy is redundant when we can already trot out the Brooks-Lowry combo.
