We should call up all of the Vipers and let them rain threes on Pelicans

Do what the Spurs did tonight. Play starters for one or two rotations, shut them down after halftime. Our bench needs the work most anyway.

I think we need to play all of our starters... for half of the game. Need a little more time to get our rhythm back with Bev and Dwight.

Basically do what Popovich just did against us.

The Rockets should pick 12 season ticket holders and let them suit up against the Pelicans.

    Rest EVERYONE.

we should start Lin - Hamilton - Asik - Dmo - Casspi, have our 3 dleaguers coming of the bench with Garcia, and let our starters in houston
if they play seriously, they should be able to win vs what's left of the Pelicans (half of their team is injured and their best player right now is Austin Rivers...)
+ it's a chance for Lin to gain confidence before playoffs

Rest Bev, Harden, Lin, Parsons, Jones, Dwight and Asik.

    Caanan - Daniels
    Daniels - Covington
    Hamilton - Garcia
    Casspi
    DMO

We should blow them out with this lineup

I am not a big fan of resting playoffs. If you have two teams going into a series, one playing hard until the end of the season, the other resting their starters in the last game, I am pretty sure the first team wins the first game in most cases.

I would go the Popovich route - play the starters in the first half, but don`t let them get over 20 minutes total. And for sure don`t rest guys like DMo and Garcia, they need all the rhythm they can get.

And about that tiebreaker - it would be nice to have, but I wouldn`t think that far down the line. Let`s think about getting in best shape to beat Portland first.

Rest our main playoff rotation players. I just can't imagine how heart breaking it will be if one of them gets injured against NO

    The questions are

What is to be gained from resting the starters?

What is the cost of not resting the starters?

What is to be gained from playing the starters?

What is the cost of not playing the starters?

If you can answer these questions, you then have your answer.

    Easy :)

My 2 cents, rest the players.

Having rested, healed players have a much much higher premium
going into the next 6-8 weeks.

I don't think we should be planned for the Finals at this stage. Rest the stars and hope with extended playing time one of our wings can get some rhythm.

Play the starters and Lin and Asik for the first half, then rest them. Let Canaan, Troy and Covington show us what they've learnt in the D-League!
