I guess more people want Rockets to redesign alternate uniform, according to the poll above.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I really liked the shiny versions of our away jerseys (the ones worn during the Yao / T-Mac era prior to this season).

Yes, the cut wasn't perfect. But the crimson red and the shiny silver of that jersey, in contrast to the drab red and gray that's being used this season, really set the Rockets apart from every other team in the NBA.

It made them look electric, defiant, and tough. Remember Ron flexing his muscles against the Lakers? T-Mac punching the air after going 13 in 30? Battier's blood trickling down his face? Yao and Mutombo swatting shots in the middle? Those moments were defined, not just by the stars and plays themselves, but by the shininess and the ultra modern look of our previous jerseys.

The fabric and stitching of the uniforms used this year, although lighter in weight, gives the team a much softer look. And the team's uniform now matches their style of play.

Switch it back, stick to the alternates, or create all new ones. It's time for a change. In my eyes, the 2010-2011 Rockets and their jerseys have become synonymous with losing.

I would be totally in favor in doing what the Sixers did and go back to the old jerseys and logo with slight modifications. And if the Rockets wanted to, they could make their current style into one of their alternates.

why don't people start photoshopping what they want. I like our current ones, but don't like that ketchup and mustard junk we call alternates

If NBA still ban the black jersey, which I think it's ridiculous, can anyone of you agree that the red one in the picture would be perfect choice for alternate?

these are by far the best looking and most realistic choices IMO.

the only time we should see the championship jerseys are for throwback games or as an alternate. wish people would stop begging for the old jerseys. get with the times people!

I like the middle one quite well, actually! I'd like to see a tighter fit on the shoulders and around the arms (such as the Orlando Magic have), those look like they'd be that way. The current tops and shorts look so loose that they don't appear to fit quite correctly, like they're kids and their moms bought their uniforms a little big for them so they'd have room to grow in.

I don't like this season's unis much at all; don't like the striped looking fabric, and I hate the grey in the lettering and trim. The grey just looks - I don't know exactly, kind of dirty maybe? Not very eye catching at all.

Those unis should be the real ones they look so much cleaner than the ones we have now
