The man is clearly injured. He shouldn't have played against a blazers team fighting for a playoff spot and are going to play physical. Screw the ego and the MVP acollade. We need prime time Harden if we are even going to get past the first round. These are meaningless games. Sit his butt down. The Rockets should have just paid for a night at the Portland strip clubs.

Obviously not for the season .

Shut him down for a bit , then let him come back and get back into a rhythm when he is healthy .

If he's not healthy until the playoffs then you made a season altering mistake by not sitting him earlier .

If we pull the trigger now , he should get 2-3 games back at the end of the year to work his way back in to a groove.

    Rest starters Friday
    Off Saturday
    Sunday at Phoenix
    Off Monday & Tuesday
4 days rest in 5 days

Then they play every other day with one back to back.

    Apr 5 Denver
    7 Detroit
    9 @ Sacramento
    10 @ Clippers
    12 Wolves

Then the playoffs I'd imagine on the 15th or 16th.

Shut him down for the rest of the regular season yes!!!! Why did he play tonight vs Portland? They looked lax and were losing big most of the night. He could of been resting that wrist / legs
