more points due to faster pace...offensive efficiency definitely hasn’t been better tho, it’s at its lowest since MDA’s been here but still elite

overall on the season, we are ranked 4th

Between the advanced stats and the assets given up, anybody who cannot see that the trade was a mistake is being naive.

I get the context of Harden wanting it and Tilman being stupid and whatnot, but there just hasn't been evidence that it's been a positive. Having said that...hopefully the small ball thing works out. We'll see. Need Tilman to change his philosophy if this era is going to have a chance, which...let's just say I'm not counting on that.

Westbrook just makes this team better especially with going 5 out. It's literally pick your poison

I mean that’s a story with a lot of facts. The conclusion of the matter is this. If you switched Westbrook for CP3 on the Rockets right now would the Rockets be a better team???

This is where you have to look deeper into the situation and not just focus on the current year to date advanced stats and winning metrics. CP3 is simply not playing the game he is playing this year as the leader on the floor for OKC while in a Rockets uniform alongside James Harden. That’s not fantasy or me trying to convince myself we won on this trade. It’s just simply taking into account the entirety of the situation in regards to the roles each players involved would have or have the opportunity to play on the basketball floor.

Understanding that alone leads you to seeing the Westbrook trade was the best possible outcome for the situation our team was in to give the team a punchers chance to improve.

I would take CP3, Capela, 2 first rounders over Russ. This is about the Russ secondary effects also.

Left Covington out but I see where your going. Harden nor most Rocket players wanted to go that direction. CP3 just became too toxic on the basketball court for lots of Rockets players for a various amount of reasons.

    Okay, stupid.

so we are literally averaging more points given up as well.

I guess Westbrook is just that horrible on defense compared to Chris Paul.

People think only harden had issues with Paul but nick wright who morey uses as his pr in the media said it was Eric Gordon and atleast three other players who were sick of Paul’s condescending attitude towards everyone. This is all to similar from his clippers days.

Paul probably means we’ll but sometimes you have to know when to draw the line

We should find another big rather than let westbrooks out. We can ask KD or Thompson to join next year. I think KD will join Houston, if Tilman is willing to pay for the tax

Defense in spurts wins championships. Ask JVG. Ask Steve Kerr.

Harden wanting it is key. An unhappy Harden asking for a trade puts us out of the playoffs and into the lottery.

So our numbers in November were so good that our really bad numbers since then haven't mattered?

December was our best month offensively with a 114.4 offensive rating...November, January, and February have been between 111.6 and 112.8

quite a few teams that started off meh offensively have picked it up the last 2 months or so like Utah (120 offensive rating in January), OKC, New Orleans, Portland, Memphis had a hot January, etc...but it hasn’t been enough to surpass the Rockets on the season overall so we remain 4th
