should the Rockets go after Boozer or Amare in the off season?

amare's good but simply is unpredictable u dont kno which stoudemire ur gona get on a nite to nite basis..

some nites he can be all world and some nites hes M.I.A

actually hes the PF version of Mcgrady.. has all the talent but doesnt have the drive and is lazy, as evident by his 8.8 rebounds a game, wtf? he should EASILY be a double digit rebounder

    thats not hating, simply facts

I was very lukewarm on amare but now that its evident he hates tmac... would make the re-matches even more awesome. Do it Morey.

I really don't want Amar'e because he'll continue the trend of injury-prone stars in Houston. Boozer is bad because of our rivalry with Jazz, so I'd say Bosh or Lee

I think you are either greatly underestimating the salary that Lee will be commanding (if you think he's going to take the MLE) or you don't understand how the NBA salary cap works. The Rockets cannot bring in a player making more than the MLE, whether it be $8 million a year or $16 million a year, without doing a sign and trade. The Knicks will NOT do a sign and trade for Lee.

I don't care if he blocks one shot per night. Great, that's two points that he saves you. Maybe a few more from altering shots. Now how many is he giving up because he's too aggressive going for blocks, or because he doesn't get himself in good position on every play, or because he's too concerned with rebounding to step out and defend on the perimeter? While some (perhaps many) shot blockers are good defenders, a block a night does not mean a guy is playing good defense.

I don't like either one, honestly. They'll both likely be overpaid and neither one of them is a player who can put the Rockets over the top.

If Carlos Boozer would use proactive, I suppose I would like him on the Rockets. I can't stand the guy as it is right now, but he is ultra efficient and things tend to change when players join your side. I think he and Yao would easily be the best front court in the league.

As for Amare, I say no. He's already shown he doesn't play well with a big, slow center. His defense is suspect too, but I guess that can be said for the entire Suns team.

Chris Bosh is #1 on my wish list of players potentially obtainable, but I'd be willing to bet that adding anything more than another borderline All-Star is nothing more than a pipe dream. Too much $$$ involved.

the jazz won tonight over the knicks and now are # 1 in the northwest division, they look pretty strong going down the stretch, this makes me wonder whether the jazz will try to keep (resign) boozer this offseason he will be expensive and will be looking for a max contract

Actually, Amare played well with Shaq under D'Antoni and Gentry. He just didn't play well at all under Porter, in the slow down offense. As long as there are still opportunities to run, Amare can play well with a big guy.
