When you're rebuilding, you might take a chance on someone like him, hoping he gets his ish together and gets much better fast. But, we could be contenders. We should not be taking gambles anymore. We should be taking sure things so we don't jeopardize what we've got.
The guy is supposed to be a scorer and he's pretty terrible at that. The idea that we're going to bring him in to play out position and hope he turns into some sort of hustle player content to rebound and play defense is pretty delusional. And truth be told, I'm one of the people that thinks that smoking herb is no big deal. He's just not a very good basketball player.
Don't be the girl that thinks she's special and capable of changing a bad boy, while all the previous girls couldn't. Why do you think McHale and Rockets can get into his head while Miami, Minnesota and Phoenix all failed?
At the minimum, why not? A winning atmosphere could have a positive effect. People change. Plus he's only 24.
Teams like the Spurs and Patriots take chances on guys. Good locker rooms help and great coaches assume they can turn anyone around.
I agree why not take a flyer with him at the minimum take him through training camp and see if he makes the cut.
The Rockets have a good locker room with leaders that will get him in line. They will let him know as soon as he gets in the building that this is not the place for BS. We are here to win Chips
Pretty decent from the baseline and corners. Shot selection might be an issue. Thanks, but I would be more interested in the advanced stats showing that he is one of the worst in the NBA.
