Comprehension issues? Elementary context here. You stated the guy was wrong, then said 'but' and defended his actions. You even went further and said it made a difference if the person he was talking to was a terrorist supporter or not (which, according to your logic, everyone is by default). You clearly believe there's a difference to excuse this incitement to terrorism (makes you a terrorist supporter), why don't you enlighten us on how this difference excuses hate speech?

And I love how you spout ignorant comments like "as we don't have your sharia law in Western civilizations". If you actually knew something about Sharia law, you would know that there are already Sharia courts in the United States. Just like there are Beth din courts as well. No doubt you will come back with some rhetoric where you state you already knew everything about anything and that everyone else is a terrorist supporter.

The rule of law in the US is not your sharia nonsense, as much as you might be hoping for this. Oh, and Kwame - I can't even remember having seen you post anything other than complete garbage, and in contrast to other posters who only post garbage in the D&D, in your case this is true for all forums, so your opinion of whoever is "getting owned" does not mean anything.

Agreed...I think he should probably be fired, too.

The people who flew the planes into the WTC did not claim to do so in the name of Christianity or Judaism - they said they were doing it in the name of Islam. I don't think having concerns about the mosque means saying Islam as a whole is to be blamed - but you also cannot just ignore the fact that the terrorists claimed to act in the name of Islam.

As I said, I am not generally opposed to the mosque being built, but I don't quite understand how you don't see the issue here.

Hilarious, all the Islamist-leaning zealots and their bitter, xenophobic support group repping each other.

Next: Batman Jones repping one of those who lean toward Islamist ideology, or his buddy in frustration and bitterness Groogrux.

ah, more personal attacks. with me just moving into a new house, getting married in 24 days, and working a job at a very successful company, i'm not even sure i know what bitterness and frustration mean.

    happy memorial day.

Any one who dares disagree with ATW or claims to be a practicing Muslim = dangerous Islamist zealot who wishes nothing less than the demise of Western civilization.

AroundTheWorld has Islamists Tourette's Syndrome

"son", "kid" ------ are these like modern day code words to distinguish between master and slave in Deutchland or am I reading too much into it?

Seriously though, I have no problem with the guy keeping his job, I am a proponent of giving idiots even a bigger mic (or popular basketball forums!) so they can make fools out of themselves. How would we know the Nazi sympathizers among us if we suppress their voice and their freedom to express their opinions?

I am all for exposure ;)

Reading too much into it is putting it mildly. You are talking out of your ass. You are obviously a young kid who hasn't been to Germany and doesn't have an idea, yet you talk nonsense about ghettos, about masters and slaves and other bullcrap.

Oh, how clever. Fortunately, I have not seen one post on this BBS that I would have been able to identify as having come from a Nazi sympathizer.

So by your logic, if terrorists commited an act in the name of Christianity - then no churches should be built near that site either? Are you saying that a church should not be built in Centennial Park in Atlanta then?

Do you see how ridiculous that logic is?

Your constant comparisons to Christian abortion doctor fanatics are somewhat off. These people are obviously also crazy, but it's a different kind of crazy. They take one element of their faith (mistakenly thinking that killing people is justified and mandated by their faith to protect unborn life) and go crazy with it.

The terrorist attacks by Islamists are different insofar as it is not about one element of their faith, but about asserting superiority of their overall faith over everyone else's faith (death to all infidels).

There is a difference there. The Christian crazies are "one issue crazies", the Muslim crazies are "you not sharing our beliefs is enough" crazies.

    Anyway, crazy is crazy.

To answer your question: If the people who had flown the planes into the WTC had done so in the name of Christianity, I would see the same concern with building a church there as I can see right now with the mosque.

    Nothing ridiculous about that logic.
