    My Sunday keeps getting better...

Don't print the playoff tickets just yet....

Astros General Manager Ed Wade told us on Friday not to get to ahead of ourselves. Sure the Astros have been a quite a roll over the last two months, sure they're right in the thick of the NL Central race, but with 65 games left anything can happen.

With the Astros not looking to add any players via a trade, its win or lose with what they have. The good news what they have is producing for the most part. What they can't afford is for anyone to go into any kind of slump. This team has little margin for error, any kind of hiccup and its let's get ready for next season.

This next six game road trip to Chicago and St Louis will give us a good idea if the Astros are in it for the long haul. A 3 and 3 split would be acceptable I think by the team and their fans. If Roy and Wandy can keep it up I like their chances for now.

Bedard has developed a reputation for just being a loser. He's the guy who can quietly have a nice year as long as the spotlight is off of him, not dependable at all.
