Should the alternate jersey layout be the same for home and away jerseys?

Holy crap, that is dead on! For years, I've thought they looked like something, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. You nailed it my friend.

It's a silly idea too. The fans in China will sport the jersey's no matter what they look like, as long as Yao is on the team.

Colo's updated jersey's keep the same lettering and color scheme, while bringing in an actual NBA feel and look to them.

Awesome news! May I ask how you got this info, and what the exact changes will be?

It would seem the most logical changes would be in the direction of the new alternates, and that's ideal IMO, but who knows.

I'd like to know how jerseys get approved...they sure as hell don't ask fans for feeback. You'd think it would make sense to put out a product the actual buyers like...it would mean more money in their pockets.

Also, how much feedback do they get from the actual players? Seems like they have slowsly gone to bigger arm cuts, which doesn't make sense to me. Personally that extra material hanging off my sides would drive me crazy.

Personally i've always like the "sleeveless tee" kind of jerseys, that extra material at thr shoulder soaks up sweat and add a little protection, no looseness hanging off your sides, and i don't think they restrict arm motion.

And the college style has gone a completely different direction from the NBA style. I'd like to hear what the pro and college players think about their own styles and the style of the others

Damn. Oh well, we are in the "any change is good change" zone with our current chinese food take out box styles, so I can't complain too much.

Shoot, I hate those thick, vertical, arching double stripes on the jerseys and shorts. Too much going on there.

Hopefully the new stitching prevents the edges of the shoulder blades from curling up at times and making the players look like Power Rangers.

And i think this thread/poll has been broken since the first page. I doubt there were 40 people who voted no on the people that actually knew what the OP was trying to describe. I bet if someone started a new poll to vote if Cotovelo's jerseys blow the current jerseys out of the water, 99% would vote yes.

And looking at Cotovelo's jerseys, the cuts and style looks almost identical to the new alternate jerseys we got last season...

Where did the Adidas jersey come from? Not Bad.. But i still like the photoshop jerseys better.....The Red and Grey away is sick!!!

 

The alternate jersey cut, is so much better then the regular jerseys!

 

Anybody have a clue when the jerseys with the new material are going to be released? I know they won't make a big deal about them, but I'm sure there will be some kind of announcement since they will look different with the new material and cut.
