Should the alternate jersey layout be the same for home and away jerseys?

i love the grey one... that should def be the actual jersey. You should somehow present that to the organization

 

that's what I had drawn years ago. Wish I had the tools to render. Someone will get it done... maybe.

 

They should definately replace our current ones. Our corrent ones are so generic and boring.

Les is unfortunately 0-2 in selecting our uni's. This current batch is better than the pajamas, but that's saying very little. Too shiny, terrible looking shoulders, bad shade of Red, and the striping along the sides is hideous and outdated looking.

The Alternate jerseys have a much better layout and the colors are so much smoother looking. My first choice would be to make them the all time Away jerseys, and making a white Home version-that has a touch of yellow like the 90's Homes.

These updated photoshopped white and reds look 10 X BETTER than what they have now though, and would be very acceptable. "Less is more" with jersey's and logo's, and the current uni's have too much going on. These updated drawings have a simple and thick single stripe along the sides, and the shoulder pieces are back to traditional. The colors aren't as glossy, but they're bright and defined. No one has jersey's like these.

Disagree, the alternates are so generic looking. They look like stock Adidas designs.

The current jerseys have a classic look about them and because of their unique design they're easily recognised. I've never really cared for the McD's colors.

 

There's no way the Rockets current home and away jersey's put up good sale $ around the U.S. There's no appeal outside of Houston for them, and that wouldn't be the case with the updated version on this thread. The China numbers will be there regardless of how they look.

The design of the jersey doesn't really matter, because if the team sucks again next year, they will just be looking pretty doing it

 

Now those are great jerseys...

 

Somebody posted a couple months ago that the Rockets are changing fabric and cut of the uniforms for this season. Anybody heard anything about that? That seems way more realistic than a total change of uniform style. The cut of our current uni's are way out of date!!!

 

Very nice, Cotovelo. Those jerseys are DEFINITELY an upgrade over our current ones.

 

I'm convinced that anyone who wants the black jerseys and keeps whining for them are either teenagers, Linkin Park fans, Creed fans, or all of the aforementioned.

I wouldn't say that the cuts are out of date so much as they are just awkward.

Wide shoulder cuts are cool but there is something unusual about our's. I think part of it is those ghey double stripes that cause the edges to curl up.

I am really looking forward for entirely new cuts and designs, whether it's the season or at a later time.

I didn't like the dildo jersey but at least they had standard cuts. The problem was the color scheme, the stripes and the logo in that case.

 

Those are nice, but I really like the mustard on the alternates.

Those Colovelo jerseys look awesome!!! I’m still not thrilled about the font but I could live with it with these colors.
You guys with twitter, facebook and what not should post these and get the word out. Like some have already said, it might catch the attention of the higher ups to get the change done.

 

These Coltovelo jerseys are a change in fabric and cut, while maintaining the same Rocket font and number style.

Seems like a no brainer slam dunk to me, but again, Les is 0-2 in picking uni's so I'm not getting my hopes up.

I like Colto's black alternate, but am just fine with our current alternate.
