After the blow-ups of the Bosh and Melo signings (thank god), don't you think its best for the Rockets to keep flexibility, sign a good power forward for reasonable deal (too bad they didn't get Channing frye and Jordan hill when they could), but maybe even steal gooden or Vilanova in a good price, get one of the good pg in Phoenix, have a year of improvement and then go hard for KD or Love next season?
I reckon it will be better than blowing up money on mediocre players, as nice as they are like Parsons

No. With the Ariza signing we will have nowhere near the max available. Plus it is far from a given that one of them signs. And isn't Durants FA in 2016? Plus we have the pieces in place to win now - Howard can opt out in two years, so we need to give this team every opportunity to win now.

Max capspace in 2016 is still very much possible. More so if Parsons opt out that year which is incredibly likely short of a career threatening injury. Even adding a Ryan Anderson or someone similar would not change this. Most NBA players currently have contracts 2 years or less.

Love? No chance. The Rockets are done with any 2015 scenarios.

The Rockets need to prove to other free agents that they are willing to spend. No more waiting.

I agree that we need to prove that we can spend and just harden and howard is good enough to atleast make it to the western conference finals. No one wants to come here and be third wheel to a crappy team.

Best way to get KD is to have a team that produces better results than the Thunder, and in order to accomplish that you need the likes of a Chandler Parsons.

Love will very likely be extended once he is traded to Cleveland or whoever.
KD is not a free agent next season.

Morey will always have the team ready for any possible superstar signing.

Looks like Howard running away from LA at all costs and trying to repair his image and Houston being the natural landing spot has everyone thinking that everyone else would do the same. All the big name FAs spurning Houston this off-season seems to have had little effect on a lot of people here.

    Very True.

Almost all of the major Free Agents went with the money and stayed at their current location.

This crap again? After watchin this LBJ,Melo fiasco, I believe there are fans that actually get hard ons from the hype surrounding this FA nonsense. They actually follow the hype more than the actual basketball games.

    Wiggins 2017????

You're being sarcastic, but I bet ESPN already has this cued up. I wouldn't be surprised if it had already been proposed here by some starry-eyed poster.
