Should Rockets Trade for 2nd Pick to Draft Nerlens Noel?

re Parsons, i think he could potentially land a mid lotto pick this year. if a team like Utah or Philly get that pick, i could definitely see them considering trades for young vets. Parsons+Asik (Asik to a third team for lotto pick) might be enough.

 

i mean the no.1 or no.2 pick

 

I don't see it. GMs will want a ton, and whatever they would consider would be too much of a risk for us to give up. Especially since this draft is unbelievably weak. I really don't like many, if any, of them.

 

Noel will go number unless serious health issues creep up. Why give up so much to get a player that projects as Tyson Chandler, especially when you have Asik. If you deal Parsons you have another major positional role to fill and Parsons fits the Rockets system very, very well. He can finish, hit 3's, play multiple positions, defend multiple positions and handle the ball some.

 

Nerlens was on sportscenter today and said he's hoping to be back around christmas, i'm assuming that's best case scenario.

regardless, i'd trade parsons/asik/fillers for him.
