If we lose tonight the only moves I wanna see are trades for draft picks.

    Fire sale.

IF iverson was available you think we would have gone for him. He's a smarter ab but can't shoot but atleast gets to the line. Damn I don't have a good feeling of ish handling the point. I'd say yes make a move soon. If this gets too bad teams know we would be desperate and rape our assets. Right know we could leave with some decent players still on our roster

I wonder if the wolves are asking "Should we make a move if we lose to the Rockets tomorrow.

very funny but we're much better than the wolves, none in their roster right night is paid over 5M. Does that make sense?

    It's a question, not analysis.

There's no question in my mind that Morey will eventually make a trade before the deadline because there will be several trade opportunities due to teams wanting to shed payroll before the CBA expires. However, you don't ever want to make a trade out of desperation or weakness because other GM's will be predatory like Morey was to the Knicks last year.

Morey will pull the trigger when it makes long term sense to do so for the Rockets. But personally I would rather see them sacrifice this season than to make a knee-jerk trade now that could end up crippling the team for several years. Hopefully they can right the ship in time so they don't have to do so.

I think it's more about the team coming together and figuring out what changes can me made among themselves to close out games strongly.

Who makes a move 6 games in to a season? If the Rockets are to go go 0-82 it would still be to early to trade away their vets. Trades are meant to bolster you current team, not to completely remake them during the season. Please put the controller down and turn off the video game, real life is not 2K11.

If the Sixxers continue to do well without Iguodala, then there is the possibility that we can get him. Come on Morey, Battier, Patterson and JT with a TE on the side for Songaila just to help them shed more salary. They would be getting an experienced vet to help mold their young players. They get the 14th overall pick in 2010, Patterson and a dynamic scorer in JT.

Well, you still basically have a whole season to gel anyway. Why not. Better now than at the deadline.

I am in for rebuilding regardless of whether we win or lose against the TWolves. Older guys should be traded for younger guys. Yao, Miller, Scola, and Battier all should be available to the highest bidder. I would look at trying to help get Melo to a team he likes that isn't New York.

Didn't Detroit trade Billups to Denver for Iverson 2 games into the 08-09 season?

They need to make a move regardless, they needed to make a move 4 months ago and Morey knows it.

We need Melo or Iguodala or some other premier SF. Lose Brooks.

WAY too many folks giving up on the season, though.

At this point, I'd blame the coaching staff more than the players: horrible timing of time-outs, the lack of emphasis on defense.

don't forget that..it's not you can get him when you want..==
he can trade to new york or nets or whatever Nuggets wants..

don't forget the bosh issue..but actually, I always think chris bosh is OVERRATED..still feel funny to see Bosh > CP3 at that time..
