Should the rockets trade for jimmer fredette? Surround another 3 point shooter with harden and howard. of course jimmer's defense is a problem but he could be like reddick and howard in orlando.
Don't see the need. Our PG/SG rotation is already very deep, and we have a young shooter in Canaan going forward. We don't need him when we play small ball lineups because we have Bev and Lin also.
i see. from what i've seen howard's post game is absolute garbage, always thought having another shooter was a good thing.
Sounds like you didn't watch the Blazers game. We have lots of shooters already, and we don't need another PG on the roster. While Jimmer can shoot the ball really well, we just don't have a need for him when we have Lin and Beverley who are both shooting the ball well and can play much better defense.
If for some reason Morey had to or decided to move Lin than I'd say he would be a good pickup as a 6th man type of guard, but I really want most if not all the rotation minutes to be kept with Harden/Lin/Bev with a little defensive presence in Brewer for situational minutes. I just dont see where the fit is on this team.
Jimmer's defense is really bad. He could not be on court with Harden or Lin. Harden or Lin should always be on court for Rockets.
We have a ton of shooters...that's not a problem. Anyone on the team you pass to can hit a 3 if they are wide open: Lin, Bev, Garcia, Casspi, Parsons (not lately), Harden. Did I miss anyone?
