You guys seem to be confusing JVG the great commentator with JVG the HORRIBLE coach. The guy is awful, anyone who want him back is stupid

This should be the next coach of the Rockets whenever Rick decides to leave.

    He should not be fired.

But if we were to get JVG back, I wouldn't mind.

Heck, JVG should of never been fired in the first place.

The guy has only failed the make the playoffs 3 times in 19 seasons and one of those was last season when we didn't have any superstars/all stars and we still finished above .500. He's also led us to our only playoff series victory and our best season in terms of record since 1998. And people actually want him fired after 3 games?

Van Gundy's record as Rockets coach: 182-146 (.555) (Career .575)
    Adelman's record as Rockets coach: 150-99 (.602) (Career .609)

I would say "No" particularly if the only other choice is JVG but I voted "Ask me later in the season." I mean if we are 0-40 I would even consider JVG.

I said ask me later...because i'd want the flexibilty to see where we're headed.

but i had no inflated view that this collection of players was going to be a contender anyway. he's working with his hands tied behind his back with Yao at this point.

Adelman should just leave this team after the GM traded Ariza for nothing and pulled out the half Yao crap.

Wow, I can't even believe someone started a 'fire the coach' poll after only 3 games into the season. A season where the coach is trying to deal with monitoring his all-star's minutes and figure out how to create the rotation around that. The average fan doesn't realize how difficult that is for a team trying to find it's idenity.

I'm not even voting in this poll. Dumb.

What are you talking about? We got Courtney Lee in the deal that sent Ariza to the Hornets. Lee has played pretty well so far. It's a real stretch to say we traded Ariza for nothing.

I voted yes, but not until the end of the season.

I think he is a good coach, but going the wrong direction.
If Les wants the high scoring offense then what else can Adelman do?

This team not only has the wrong identity it has the wrong players for the kind of Sacramento King/Clone we are putting out their.

We need defense we have no good perimeter defenders and little past Yao to protect the paint.

We need some pure shooters to play inside out and P&R with Yao and we need Yao to mend and be a 32 mpg- player who puts up 25-10-2

Yao is a great 1/2 court player in the post when healthy.

Start shopping for a great coach to take us through the rebuilding process.

Right now I enjoy watching the team but took off my rose colored glasses back when TMac was injured and done for his career and Yao was injured and done for the season.

Carmelo isn't the kind of player I would build a championship around, not as the leader.

We need another #1 over all draft pick right about now.

its quite obvious that some of you have never been on clutchfans during the JVG era.

just go do a search and see how many anti-JVG threads were created.

This little knee jerk on Rick is nothing compared to what clutchfans felt about JVG.
