Should NBC have shown video of Nodar Kumaritashvili's death?

    NBC did what any other news network would have done. Sensationalistic news gathering at it's finest. It was certainly not a ratings grab, since it was not advertised at all. Just poor timing and editing I think. Maybe show the crash once instead of three times, all in slow-motion. And just maybe mention the tragedy to kick off the coverage and that the Opening Ceremony would be dedicated in his honor, the flags lowered to half-mast, the black arm bands...and maybe take another day to put together a memorial news piece on him to precede the start of the men's luge...something that could celebrate the athlete that he was instead of the tragedy that befell him.

    We should get rid of the snow and have them ski on marshmallows. And their skis could be made of graham crackers. And when it rains chocolate we can have an Olympic s'mores party. YAY!
