Should I get a sling Box?

    I just got one since I travel a lot, but man I have had an absolutely frustrating time getting this thing set up - it will not connect to my wireless system in my house. How did you do it?

    I am about to send the darn thing back...........

    I connected it to my wireless router by cable, and it broadcasts over the wireless just fine.

    That is what I was afraid of, I really wanted to do it without using a cable - since the two are not near each other. The whole reason why I got the Hava.

    Call tech support, they should be able to help you out, but if your have a wireless router, you could relocate it to the Cable by the TV, it would not matter where is is set up.

    Slingplayer for Palm Public Beta out now!

    Got this email today, installed it on my Palm Treo 680, and it works fairly well- good enough to watch Rox and Astros games! :) I didn't see a need to start a new thread since this one was floating around. Just another reason to get a Slingbox!
