The down side of putting Howard on Griffin is that Jordan will feast on the offensive board.

We've been okay doubling him so far. The main thing is to keep Reddick and Crawford cold.

I think we're best when we give Griffin different defensive looks throughout. Ariza, Jones, Smith, and DH. I wouldnt start with DH as he has a tendency to get into foul trouble early. Also, covering Griffin wont allow him to stray and help on defense, which he can do when covering Jordan with minimal risk.

We can't afford to leave dwight on Griffin for too long

offensive rebounds kill this team, especially when Jordan can just kick out to open shooters and get them hot

switching up looks on Griffin is the way to go, make him work himself dead on offense and falter in the fourth quarter

Dwight would foul out fast because that big dumb baby Blake Griffin gets a call EVERY time he drives the lane and creates contact. He initiates all the contact yet the other player gets called with a foul.

I think we should double him. Whoever wins the rebounding battle has won these games, so Dwight needs to be near DeAndre for long stretches or it'll be an offensive rebound party. We just have to stay locked in on defense like we did in the fourth. Double Griffin and just rotate well to the shooters. We were closing out so well that they didn't even want to shoot the ball. There were a couple of plays early where we closed out late. there were a lot of plays where the Clippers essentially had a fast break/deep post up off of a made basket. I would prefer an absolute defensive dogfight (slim chance of happening given the series scorelines), because we have the best ISO player in the series.

Are you kidding me??? Dwight would foul out by the fourth quarter, with the way the referees blow the whistle when anyone gets aggressive with Griffin. #Rockets #Pursuit

Totally agree 100%% Ref's will definitely not let Blake, "Mr KIA," get out muscled by D12. Let them play physical!! It is the Playoffs ya know??

    Save it for the 4th.

Griffin started going to the rim soft when he knew he couldn't bully his way to the basket

That is huge because they can't let a scrubs like crawford or rivers hit shots. That has been one of the differences in the loses.
