Bc they want to try something that obviously didn't work previously Coach Couch. Do you know what the Jazz record vs the rockets was prior to this series in the last 2 years. But hey apparently, they need to do the same and just hope the results are different.

moronic post. Oh the irony coming from you on so many levels.

you didn't answer my question. what happened in 2017 WCSF against the Spurs? sometimes real in-depth scouting doesn't happen until very late into the season. it's called playoffs.

bc last i checked its 2019, nobody cares what happened in 2017 relative to what's going on now. round and round and round you continue to go.

    its called irrelevant

it matters because Harden was scouted to death by the Spurs in that series, and could've avoided that meltdown if Harden diversified his offensive routine. His routine is yet again very predictable, so is once again vulnerable to being scouted to death,

Spurs took away Harden's threes and drives, and you saw what happened. If a player has the ability to score from anywhere on the court, you're impossible to scout and scheme against.

The Jazz designed their entire defensive strategy around stopping one player.

On top of that, the Jazz have the DLOY and a top 2-3 defense.

There isn't a player in the world that would have done better.

Honestly, Harden can shoot 37% from the floor the rest of the playoffs if the Rockets keep winning, I do not care.

no one cares what you care about. most people just want to know whether Harden can be as effective in the playoffs as during regular season.

Let me know when teams start changing their entire defensive scheme for James Harden during the regular season on a game to game basis.

Once that happens, you will have your answer.

Also, I think most Rockets fans just want to win in the post season and don't care if games shoots 35% or 55% from the floor.

Wylo, could you give any film example of a time Harden was left open or dared to shoot a mid-range shot for those who haven't seen it?

If 28/8/7 averages in a 4-1 series win with one of the best defensive teams 100% focused on locking Harden down is underwhelming... maybe Harden actually is one of the best offensive players of all time.

edit: And one thing you have to admit (and have admitted based on your comments) is that Harden can do even better. If he gets his shot going on top of his other contributions, watch out.

Why do I keep seeing posts about the Jazz taking away Harden’s 3?

They took away the majority of his step backs.

    He still made 4.2 3s per game @ 35.0%
    Season numbers were 4.8 3s per game @ 36.8%
