Right, but there's a reason this thread was made after last night's game. Harden's "weight" hasn't been a problem against any other team, Roberson gives Harden a lot of trouble.
That's not true, this isn't the first time he seems too slow to overcome his defender, the same thing happened in other games. Obviously you won't notice this against the Lakers because they just didn't play defense.
Probably. Looks to be slipping in too many greasy triple cheese burgers and cream soda with Maury and Keith Jones.
That's why I hate seeing him in the game in the last 3 minutes. I'd rather see Beverly, Gordon, Ariza, Decker and Harrell in there. Harden slows us to a snail's pace at the end, and turns into Mr. Meme, playing slow, selfish, sloppy ball.
At this point absolutely not. Harden is an extremely durable player who takes alot of punishment going to the rim. He can do this because he has alot of bulk for his position. Muscle cushions the blows to his body and protects his bones and he is crashing to the floor.
Right, but Roberson wouldn't give him as much trouble if he were a bit lighter on his feet imo. Roberson is not that quick, but he can match Harden's strength.
i think he was 210 or 215 in this video, and he was light on his feet, see how he crossed over matthews... i want him to get back to this weight
He has an extremely high usage, plays a ton of minutes, and doesn't miss games. With the level he's playing at and as durable as he's been no one should be telling him to change his diet or workout routine, seems like he knows what he's doing.
I agree. Harden should donate his fibula to Capela. Sheds a couple of pounds, and that's what a real leader would do. Two birds, one stone.
Harden doesn't always turn a corner, but when does he stops by Jack N the Box first. Stay Hungry My Friends.
You can see how he was already bigger in this video than he was in his first season here. And today even more.
he isn't fat, just grew in to his big frame and he was always going to do that. Frankly the extra muscle helps him with the battering he takes. I'm always surprised that people think athletes are fat when they have a bigger frame
