I'm really happy about this game like everyone and ok, this is not a thread to complain about Harden's belly etc...but, like in the title, do you guys think James should do like Lebron and lose some mass? Cause i remember his first games/season here, and he was certainly less big, and definitely quicker, more agile...sometimes he looks so slow...like, i don't know...it's like he really has a hard time in overtake his man too many times imo, and even when he does (like tonight against Roberson), it's like he has nothing more in the tank when he needs to make the layup, and in fact it kinda looks he's missing a lot more layups than in the past to me (not sure if this can be checked). What do you think about this?
yes absolutely, he needs to get slimmer and quicker. That slow motion play style will not work well in the playoffs.
I think it's time to hijack this thread with DMo related content. I think DMo needs to gain some weight. Did you see that instagram pic? skinny.
seeing your best player struggle like this repeatedly against the same team should be a cause for concern, especially when there's high chance of meeting them in the playoffs.
He blew by Robertson multiple times, but you need to give Robertson credit too since he is one of the better defenders in the league. The big issue right now is Harden is sometimes trying to be too unselfish, and this is something that separates him from Westbrook quite a bit. Westbrook to his credit wants to do everything, which in some cases can be beneficial to the team. Harden this season has shifted his mentality to letting the other guys on the team do something, so he would take plays off on offense to let other guys get something going or he would just be focused on getting shots for other players. I would like to see Harden drop his assist numbers and up his scoring focus more, and get himself more mid-range shots (he was hitting them at a high rate this game).
Lol i'm just ok i'd say But like i said, i really didn't want to say that James is fat or that bs, just that maybe losing some weight/mass could be good for him and make his game a bit better...Lebron did the same a couple of years ago, i don't think this would be a problema for James.
Yeah but it's not only tonight, those were recent examples, and i don't like to take games like the last against the Fakers which were playing with literally zero intensity, i'm talking more about playoff games intensity, let's say...
Yeah, but again, i didn't say that he's fat, or at least, i didn't want to say that, if that's what it seems by the op i apologize, just doin my best with english
