I believe KingCheetah's on to something, but I don't believe he's uncovered the whole truth.

You see, why stop at Germans? What about everyone else? I mean, can the British be trusted? They've only gone around the entire world trying to make colonies of everyone they see. Then again, can really any European nation or the US be trusted after what they did to Africa and parts of Asia? Can the Japanese be trusted? What about Chinese and their communism?

And can you trust your next door neighbor or your friends? For example, statistically, your children are much more likely to be molested by someone you know than someone you don't.

Trust is for idiots. That's why the NRA has it right. We should all carry a machine gun when we walk around the park to protect ourselves from the dangers of those around us.

I think we should all pack up, move back to Europe and give the land back to the Native Americans

Until the Germans draft Hitler's replacement, they are no serious threat to anyone. Right now, Germany is like the Raiders, they are tough and dangerous but Kyle Boller and Jason Campbell are never going to be above average QBs. Now on the other hand, China or the Chargers are a legit threat with a huge buildup of weapons and ammo. If only they could pull their act together and march through the West.

    Germany planning secret satellite recon

Germany is taking concrete steps to achieve a full-spectrum, overhead reconnaissance capability by adding a space-based HIgh Resolution Optical System (HiROS) to their already impressive suite of space-based radar and multi-spectral systems. The German Government believes that full spectrum overhead reconnaissance is an effective force multiplier, provides an instrument of national power, and politically frees Germany from dependence on foreign sources of imagery.

The network is meant to be in place by 2013, but according to a later cable, funding for the project is still uncertain. Since the cable's release, the German Aerospace Center has denied that HiROS is a "spy satellite, nor a secret project" and suggested that it would instead be used for "crisis management during natural catastrophes and for scientific uses." But that wasn't the impression U.S. officials got after the 2009 meeting:

Better be careful. They still elect monstrosities as chancellors. Nothing has changed.

Coptic community in Germany fears Islamist terror attacks on churches

BERLIN - Germany's Interior Ministry says members of the country's Coptic Christian minority fear they may be attacked during this week's Orthodox Christmas celebrations.
Ministry spokesman Stefan Paris said Monday that members of the Coptic Church expressed their fears in a letter to the ministry on New Year's Eve — hours before a deadly suicide bombing by a group of Islamic hard-liners on a Coptic Church in Egypt killed at least 21 people.
Paris said the ministry was currently in security talks with the Copts.
Bishop Anba Damian of the Coptic community in Germany, which counts around 6,000 members, told German public radio that state police had warned them of online threats by Islamists.

Far right a threat to euro, Germany warned

“Leaving is committing economic and political suicide. This would not exclude that it might happen,” said Dr Issing, who is chairman of a group advising the Merkel administration on financial reform. “I think it could only happen if a government was in such a disastrous situation that extreme parties over a period of time get a majority, and this can only happen on the basis of populism and not accepting any more measures that are needed.

Dr Issing’s remarks to an audience in Berlin came days after an anti-immigration party won its first parliamentary seats in Sweden, a non-euro country. The success of the Sweden Democrats mirrors the advance of extremist parties within and outside the euro zone, as mainstream politicians worry about the cumulative impact of austerity measures to deal with the economic crisis.

Anti-Islamist Geert Wilders more than doubled his party’s seats in the Dutch elections in the summer, leading to political gridlock as the country’s leaders struggle to form a government without him. In Belgium, hardline Flemish separatist Bart De Wever claimed victory in a general election. Although he does not cast himself as far right, his uncompromising nationalism is a prime factor in the stalemate that has bedevilled the country’s politics.

In French regional elections last March, Jean-Marie Le Pen’s National Front seized 12 per cent of the first-round vote. In Italy, the xenophobic Northern League saw its tally in regional elections rise to 13 per cent. Hungarian ultra-nationalists Jobbik are also advancing, taking third place earlier this year in a general election.

German far right emerges from shadows to join Cologne campaign against mosque

"Every new movement needs a unique selling point," said Bernd Schöppe, of Pro Cologne. "Ours is the mosque. If ever you needed a sign of the real threat of Islamisation in Germany, it's that mosque, with its huge dome and 55m-high minarets." Pro Cologne, a small but growing movement which recently won seats on the city council, hopes to boost its profile by associating itself with the FPO, which made its name a decade ago after sweeping to power under the leadership of the late extreme-right firebrand Jörg Haider.

This month the FPO was celebrating another feat, after securing 26% of the vote in the Vienna elections. One of its slogans urged Muslims to "go home", and among the election paraphernalia it dished out was a computer game where players score points for shooting at mosques and minarets.

"We share similar views," said Judith Wolter, Pro Cologne's deputy leader. "It's a good partnership. They need us to build a rightwing faction on the European stage ahead of the 2014 EU parliamentary elections, we need them to help us win more voters. We'd be happy to adopt their name."

Her party, she admitted, is working hard to polish its public image, and is fighting through the courts to be removed from the watchlist of Germany's Office for the Protection of the Constitution, which has the movement under surveillance for its anti-foreigner rhetoric.

Häusler described the fact that the push for Germany's far right is coming from the small neighbouring republic of Austria as "history repeating itself as farce".

"Austria's political culture has developed differently from that of Germany's," he said, because Germany underwent a postwar denazification process that Austria was largely spared. "You have been able to say things on the Austrian political stage that would not have been acceptable in Germany," he added.

Neo-Nazis plotting 'Fourth Reich' in Germany

A defector from Germany's hard-core neo-Nazi party the NPD has painted a chilling picture of the rise of new Hitler worshippers and their plans to build the "Fourth Reich".

Uwe Luthardt was a senior member of the NPD but quit to inform on the party which Germany tried unsuccessfully to ban several years ago.

He told of weapons stores and how members greet each other with "Heil Hitler" salutes, sing the banned songs of the Third Reich and relish the idea of a new Holocaust against the Jews.

Last year neo-Nazi attacks in Germany reached an all-time high and authorities are battling to stop youngsters from being attracted to the politics of the right – particularly now that Germany is in a deep recession and jobs are being lost by the thousands every day.
